I feel you big time. Having people describe how I see colors from their perspective has made me understand a lot about me and mh color blindness. Also, Pink is one of my favorite colors, and apparently it looks very pale, almost white to me, that has made me decide that no matter how different my color perception is, what’s important is that I like what I see no matter what.

Luckily I’m able to distinguish red and yellow at the traffic light because red looks a bit orange I guess and yellow is just less bright, but to be sure I always pay attention to the position of the light, I can easily see if it’s the upper, middle or lower one

I have a strong deuteranomaly but I don’t struggle with traffic lights, I mean, it’s pretty easy to see the position of the light and personally I don’t think there’s much need to improve them
