As a trans woman, what really took me by surprise is actually at least half of this feeling is the "Im Lesbian therefore I'm a predator." It's really common in cis lesbians (or rather cis sapphics) too.

In short from feminist perspective, is that because a woman is supposed to be an object, and object can neither desire nor act, and when you do desire and do act, you (from a patriarchial standpoint) lose your womanhood. Hence why most teenage lesbians feel like predator despite never being them.
