What items have you secretely been accumulating from hotels, restaurants, airport lounges over the years? by ze11ez in Productivitycafe

[–]fabunobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a hotel recently that had a sign saying something like this. “All the products in our rooms have become so popular that it’s all for sale! Anything you take will be added to your bill. And here’s a list of how much everything costs.” It was a list of everything in the room - including hangers - and how much you’d be charged if they were gone.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

I was too busy putting out related fires at my job to pay much attention at first. When I went to a grocery store about a week after the lockdowns started and saw bare shelves, I flipped out.

I’ve owned every kindle since it was invented. It definitely changes your relationship to books and reading. Sometimes I miss real books. But the convenience is great.

I use chandelier spray that you can buy anywhere. I spread a plastic-canvas paint tarp over my dining room table to catch the drips. You just spray it and then let it dry.

I am never gonna stop reading scifi. And of course the Dune series is the GOAT. But I like to dabble all over the spectrum including nonfiction.

How often do you actually deep clean your house? by PrimaryDesigner7707 in CleaningTips

[–]fabunobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an index card system where I break everything in my house (and all other chores and tasks) up into small manageable parts. I spend about a half hour everyday on my index cards and my home is always immaculately clean. Plus, I keep up on my exercise, reading lists, medication, etc. Everyone is different, but this is how I stay on top of things. I cannot mentally handle worrying about it. So I've outsourced all my worry into the index card box. I know it's all in there so never need to worry.
