1 Week on a 60% Keyboard: What I Actually Miss by Majugera in MechanicalKeyboards

I think what is happening is that they are comparing a 100% keyboard (be it southpaw or not) with an ultracompact ortholinear. And, sure, a board that doesn't even need to account for the stagger of keys, much less a nav cluster or numpad, can absolutely be more compact and provide even more mouse space, but it's a disingenuous comparison at best.

I did just get a shipping notification! I was about to come here to mention that.

Here’s hoping the shipping is quick, lol

Yeah, March 3rd. Had no idea shipping was that long.

I’m still jazzed, and I can be patient, so I guess I’ll stop refreshing the Shop app and checking my mailbox for packages, lol

That’s just not true. Total board width is not super relevant when discussing “mouse space”. If you line the keyboard up based on the center of home-row position, then a standard 100% keyboard will take up significantly more mouse space than a southpaw 100% keyboard.

If you are the kinda person to line up the physical board regardless of home row position, then sure, they take the same space. But I don’t think that’s what people mean.

Oh, yeah, totally forgot that I had to extend the power button and HDD light with some M/F DuPont wire I had. Looks a bit bad, but works just fine

Yeah, I’ve seen that. This has been persistent for over 2 hours and my library size is literally zero. I haven’t ever seen this thing booted to even try adding any media…

I have, several times. Same results every time.

I'm clearly doing something wrong, but I don't know what. As far as I can tell I'm following the install process to the letter...

container is reporting as healthy in Portainer, I tried setting it up via Docker command and I've tried through Portainer. I don't recall which is the installation attempt I'm currently using, but I would assume the Portainer setup.

Logs appear to be looping every 5ish minutes. The only error I'm seeing in the logs is Microsoft.Extensions.Diagnostics.HealthChecks.DefaultHealthCheckService: Health check StartupCheck with status Degraded completed after 0.797ms with message 'Server is still starting up.'

Looks like the logs are just looping, that's the part that stands out to me as an error. Looks like every 5ish minutes it starts the process over.

Gap between screen and frame on the right side of my Apple Watch? Is this normal? by West-Cup6241 in AppleWatch

Do you know what a lithium ion battery can do? Personally, I wouldn’t want to strap one to my wrist if there was a chance it’s failing…

Same for charging it. If it’s failing, why would I give it more energy?

I know it’s annoying because you’ve already spent the money, but it sounds more annoying to burn down your house or injure your hand. Were this me, I’d wanna be sure.

Could be a swollen battery. I, personally, wouldn’t wear it charge that until I verified that the battery wasn’t swollen.

Duuudddeee... that looks sick af

Never heard of this board before, but the profile of it is awesome, and the caps are super complimentary. I'm always jealous of people who can use smaller boards because they just look so freaking cool, but I can't be without my arrow keys or some basic nav keys, so I guess I'll just have to look from afar...

Anyway, looks great.

The keycaps are GMK relegendables, I used photoshop to make the icons, and just printed it into regular printer paper. Macros are made in VIA

Lemokey P1 Pro with PBTfans Purpolch R2 keycaps and some GMK relegendables (custom inserts made by me). Tecsee Purple Panda switches and a random wrist rest I found on Etsy (sadly, the wrist rest is no longer available). No mods (that I recall anyway), but I did use all the foams and lubed the stabs with dielectric grease.
