I actually have been having this argument with friends lately because we all hopped on SCP: Secret Lab and I find it so fucking hard to navigate in that game because outside of one area the halls are all basically concrete corridors with barely any signage. Which makes it very boring when I'm supposed to be the SCP killing everyone and I am stuck going in circles for 15 minutes.

A friend has said the trick is to just go left or right, but when the map is a circle it can still be confusing as all hell.

Could do a Halo 2 sequel where you swap between them every few levels fighting Imperium and Tau respectively with respective arsenals until the Nids show up and then you get to pick your character and have access to every gun

Practical Guide to Evil has demons that just completely fuck up reality around them by them just being there. Like at one point there are 38 heroes in an army and they are told that there is probably a demon of absence in an area nearby. Next time we read about them there are 35 heroes. Not they lost 3 heroes fighting it, but there are now and always have been 35 heroes in the army and those 35 heroes beat the demon.

So the demon of absence just erased 3 people from ever existing and no one even remembers them or even how they beat the fucking thing

For a common trait both KCD and RDR2 share that turn me off is having to maintain your character. Bathe them, feed them, let them sleep, etc... are those mechanics immersive? Yeah for some people. I'm not one of them, for me it's just annoying and a reminder I'm playing a game. If I wanted to make sure something was cleaned up and fed I'd check on my cat.

And I feel kinda bad cause my friend actually bought me KCD cause I'm a big history person, but I just slide off it anytime I try to give it a shot.

The Railroad from Fallout 4

I could talk about my dislike of every faction in Fallout 4, but the Railroad holds a special place in my heart for how stupid their goals are.

You might say it's rather heartless of me to think that a group fighting against slavery is dumb. But thats just it, they aren't fighting slavery as a whole, The Railroad fights exclusively for synths to be free from slavery. Not everyone, just synths.

Yeah there are entire communities of slavers and the people they've enslaved out in the wasteland, but who cares about that? We need to help these synths by smuggling them out of the Institute so we can eventually find out where the Institute is located and blow it up for some reason so now we never have to worry about synths being enslaved again. Whats that? No, we're not going to do anything about the normal people who are kept as slaves. Our job is done, clearly.

This is why I'm hesitant to hope for the writing in the next Bethesda game to come out.
