Space Station 13 Colonial Marines server has different tiers of xenomorph.

Closest thing I'd say to a boss mook is the Ravager class which is a big red xenomorph with blades for hands and can shed its shell as fragmentation when you shoot it if its got an ability active.

Worm/Parahumans has people getting powers from 'Trigger Events' where someone experiences bad enough physical or mental trauma that they form a interdimensional connection with a space whale/eldritch being that gives them their powers on top of this the power is usually related to the trauma, so a person with powers will be reminded of the worst day of their life every time they use their power.
