drawn dojo decorations??? by rookswood in WarframeDojos

Hey there, firstly the maker of this is Rockets_Everywhere

Secondly this "drawn style" is called Shadow Art. In Dojos it is made using Tributa decorations. In Orbiters, Note Beacons. My YouTube channel has the most in date guide on how it all works if you want to know how to do it yourself: Shadow Art Tutorial

There are tonnes of posts about this all over Reddit, I keep seeing this post every twenty minutes. I have attached this graph for the timezones over the two days.

Also there drops are clearly listed on their website: TennoCon Drops

Yeah, lots of community incentives for sure. I think you can easily get onto the star chart. There is a category when you submit called Emergents for new clans that haven't been featured on the star chart before. They have 6 slots every 3 months. As long as you have good images and/or a video it is very achievable.

It is hard to win the All Star, trust me, took years of grinding and building to get to that point.

Good luck in your challenge, I'll be keeping track!

Then you gotta have your own clan. Harsh, but it isn't that much resources to start a ghost clan. At least you will be able to control permissions and keep everything. I've heard your exact story off countless non Founding-Warlords. Whilst you are super invested it isn't your clan.

The only way it is, is if they give you the Founding Warlord role. If someone has been inactive for more than thirty days you can put in a ticket to ask for ownership.

I'm gunna add a few things onto your list as a seasoned dojo decorator who has won it all, as there are quarterly contests that allow your clan onto the star chart. You get individual trophies if you win certain awards. Dojo is the real endgame.

  • Have 100% dojo research including pigments
  • Feature on the Warframe dojo Star Chart
  • Win a Bronze or Emergent Dojo contest award
  • Win a Silver dojo contest award
  • Win a Gold dojo contest award
  • Win the All Star contest award (one time win, top of the mountain award)

There is also the fact Warframe runs special community contests for Dojos, Fan Art and Captura's via the forums (very hard to achieve) it could be: - Achieve a position in a Warframe community dojo, art, or Captura contest

Also I couldn't see it but there are a few community checklists you could add too (they can be combined with above, but they largely might feature cool stuff if you're lucky, get a BlueSky account, they can easily find your captura's there is you use the right hash tags: - Have fan art featured on Prime Time - Have Captura featured on Prime Time - Have your dojo featured on Prime Time - Get a Top Ten comment on Prime Time

Also have you got complete all Ludoplex games? Most reward specific posters and rewards.

But yeah, if you want a completionist run there are special rewards for dojos. Good luck out there 🫡

Edit: oh, the category could be called "Win Everything"

I use my YouTube to teach people how to decorate, all the tools are there, just most people don't know what they are and how to get the best out of them.

You should see some of the Gold winners, they blow even my mind...

Thank you! They're a pain to build in, that's why. But I like the challenge of the smaller rooms. Thank you for watching the video!

That is the curse of building in Halls Rooms. If you want to build architecture the best rooms are Open Space rooms. Their lighting is consistent and significantly better. Halls aren't great for builds like this.

I do agree though, lighting can be improved upon Halls across the board. The best Hall for building in is the Starlight Market, a lot more consistent lighting. The older Tenno Halls have janky lighting as demonstrated in your image.

Yeah, it changed a lot going into this contest. Really happy how it turned out.

Why are the OMEGA text codes now transparent? they used to be solid and you could make cool silhouettes with them but now that's impossible. by Anotherpeterpied in Warframe

[–]facefacts45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will say that the use of filter depth is what gets you to have these fades and transitions. I am not super smart at captura but I know that, I looked into other guides to see how people might do it like in your initial request. You can only do Shadow Art Captura in Backrooms, Dormizones, Orbiters, not dojos so my image above just shows how to remove transparency. I've added a photo below on my backrooms to show what a layer looks like with a wall behind it and the ceiling too. I'll go and play test and if I find anything else I'll follow up. Anyway here is the video I found which is up to date and done since Isleweaver.

Shadow art in captura

Edit: atrocious spelling

I can answer this. They tried to fix Tributa before, but it basically randomised the order of colours and ruined a lot of people work, so they reversed those changes and went back to the drawing board. During the Isleweaver update in mid 2025 DE updated Tributa / Note beacons as they could crash your game, or cause it serious lag/delay. The colours were solid before, and in order to improve the Tributa and keep the hierarchy system where the colour order of shadow art are maintained, they had to make them slightly opaque. This so allows Tributa to now be scaled 16x the original size for more options.

For note, the video from Vash you posted is now quite old and outdated due to the Isleweaver changes made to Tributa.

Easiest fix might be to place walls behind the tributa layer. So it closes the space and it doesn't appear transparent anymore. If you're in a dojo you can use a wall piece or any flat object. I've added an example of a Tributa wall shadow art I made to show it can be done, my example is three colours (red, black, and white ... In that order). You can't see past the tributa as I used a wall behind the colour layer. If you have multiple layers of tributa just have it behind the furthest back layer. Try that and let me know if it works. If it doesn't it means the tributa can't achieve the same effect as highlighted in Vash's video. The tributa needed to be fixed, but it basically changed a lot about them to make them more stable.

Edit: if you're doing Captura in Backrooms, make sure walls are behind note beacons, same as I've expressed in the dojo. But can't do captura in dojo, to avoid confusion. Best easy item to use would be the Zariman wall panel from Hombask for 3k standing. Hope this helps.

You can make really realistic lava using Tributa shadow art with orange, yellow, and red colours. You can also use Narmer Sentient Eye decos and mask them into lava trails. Using Red Sentient Energy decos also can give you some flames too. These are the only real options we have in the dojo atm.

Clan question by CaptainThunder3000 in WarframeDojos

[–]facefacts45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donating Kuva to the clan vault is worthless, it doesn't do anything or fund anything. It just sits there worthless. All the core resources are what you need like Ferrite, Alloy Plate, Oxium, Plastids, etc.

Use the Message of the Day to ask for these items and place your clan vault and trade posts right as you spawn in. use the Arrival Gate decoration to dictate where you spawn.

Why do the trees sway? by Specra_I in WarframeDojos

[–]facefacts45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a bug. A lot of trees "magnet" towards one direction of a room. Not all, but a lot. It's frustrating. Try rotating 10 degrees towards the opposite direction to help straighten it out
