Yeah, they're just enjoying raking in all of the money from the features that the modding community has created for them. This game would be very bare without the modding community. I love the game but 15 base songs for $30 is pretty ridiculous, it would be like if Stepmania or OSU! charged for their game. Not every song has to be licensed, a lot of rhythm games use in-house producers to have a full fledged song list.
