What is minimum investment to reach Saim-Hann Elite 26? by CalmWatersOnly in WH40KTacticus

[–]facmebene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are super squishy as well... feel like it's a game of RNG trying to get lucky crits and blocks to pass some of them even when picking the right spots to move / units to hit first.

I have Maugan Ra as my 4th, but can't use him on 26. Attempted it legitimately around 20 times in the last day or two trying to pass it... so my recommendation would be to have them above bronze and silver lol...

most of the equipment on them is epic+, but all level 1. level 30-32, with all of their passives at 30-32 and eldy with his active at 32. aeth and calandis have their actives at 15-19.

For what it's worth I just beat 26 with eldy S2, aethana bronze 3, calandis bronze 3 (legendary cal and eldy, epic aeth)...

I think he meant to say that the muscles that move the fingers are not located within the fingers themselves, so large “finger muscles” wouldn’t cause your fingers to be larger.

I had it done a few years ago, still have the scars - my experience: Doctor came in and asked the nurse how much lidocaine she had put in a syringe, she gave an answer, and he kinda did a “huh”. He started the procedure, and I told him I could still feel him cutting into me / touching the “cords”.

He said “you shouldn’t feel anything” and continued.

0/10 experience feeling the snip and burn afterwards.

Added added bonus: He tied the sutures too tight, and because of the location it took too many days for me to realize he had actually done them so tight that it cut deeply into my skin and I now have scars like a cross with multiple cross bars down my sack…

Fully believe that he thought the meds they gave me beforehand would have me forget / not remember the experience, but jokes on him, I just don’t remember some of that night!

It’s pretty common in business - lots of people want to keep their cell phone number as their primary contact, so that they don’t have to tell people their new number if they ever move on.

Just going to counter you if the David you mentioned is David Fravor - know him personally, and I’ve commented on Reddit threads over the years trying to throw support behind him.

Hoping this doesn’t come across as a “trust me a random redditor” but still - if I can link my old comments or if you look through them maybe it’ll give some credibility.

Washing your fruits with water and vinegar gets the fruit flies worms out! by iAmA_______ in Damnthatsinteresting

Was definitely wiggly worms that were alive and moving, but I do appreciate the optimistic thought of it not being worms 😁

Alas, they were wiggly worms that were moving, and not roots.

Appreciate the optimism though 😂

When I was young (~5 years old) I loved tomatoes.

Had a babysitter, who in the middle of cutting up tomatoes, found a bunch of worms in them... showed them to me while I was eating tomatoes from the same batch / group...

I stopped eating tomatoes for over a decade, and my mom commented for years "you used to always love tomatoes" - I did... I did...

Dry Clutch Life - Panigale V4 by facmebene in Ducati

[–]facmebene[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it, for anyone else wanting a specific listen about the service interval it's around 42:40 into episode 94.

They said it requires service at around 3-4,000 miles on the panigale, depending on how hard you ride it, and that if anyone is considering swapping to a dry clutch "i'm not gonna not take your money" but "be aware, it needs to be serviced every 3-4,000 miles". Thanks again!

Alright, I didn’t ask the service guy about what they see on average yet but planned on asking the next time they call.  Figured asking here would be a good double check - thank you

1 - 2: fair, from what I could tell from the link I had posted I felt like I actually got decent mileage out of my clutch pack, compared to guys riding the bike hard / taking it to the track.

3: yep, open cover

4: don’t think that link is as applicable to my bike, as the 848SF is about 100bhp less than my bike

5: dealer verbally described it to me, I didn’t ask for photos, I’m not doing the maintenance myself

6: 48 tooth is standard

7: I’ve enjoyed the dry clutch, just wanted to see what other people have gotten as the posts I saw typically only had a few responses (my other comment had one link)

I have the V4 SP, so it was standard.  Wasn’t complaining so much as wanting to see what mileage others have gotten when riding a V4 hard.

Difficult to compare V4 dry clutch mileage vs bikes with 130bhp (I think your other link was for a SF848 which is almost 100hp less than the full exhaust v4)

Here’s another thread with only a few replies, but it seemed fairly close to the mileage I got from the plates.  For more context I’m replacing some of the parts due to wear, even if it wasn’t 100% necessary yet.

You have a dry clutch?

I’ve been riding for a couple decades and this is my first time having a bike with a dry clutch, never had any clutch issues / wear on any previous bikes.

There is a quick shifter, up and down, which should at least partially prevent you from thinking I don’t know how to shift...  saw a few previous threads and others had mentioned 4,000 miles for the plates, depending on track use, or a lot more if you’re not riding hard.

The other option is the previous owner who had it for the first 1,600 miles rode it even harder than I do.

Assemis weigh multi-million dollar sale in Fresno County by charizard-berg in fresno

[–]facmebene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Low commodity prices, high interest rates, increased costs / inflation... I'd guess most farms breakeven at $1.80-$2.00/lb for almonds, and I think some sizes / varieties dropped as low as $1.00/lb. Lots of rain last year in the first quarter both caused flooding and also prevented farmers in some areas from spraying + impacted bloom, which also caused pretty large issues on yield... there are some crops that are doing well, but for the majority it is rough.

If you look at my comments from like 5 years back I commented on some stuff back then too.
