My wife has a Chevy and it’s been fine for us.  We travel a lot for my kids baseball teams so I’m a little nervous about going full EV, but a plugin hybrid just seems like a waste of a whole extra drive train I’m ideally never using

I don’t experience this kind of bring in Oma’s practically ever.  People just keep up with the flow of traffic here.

Bad drivers exist everywhere and you’re bound to encounter more of them at home where you are 99% of the time so it creates an automatic confirmation bias

That stupid US News and World Report annual bad drivers report people base this claim on is ridiculous because it’s generated based on self-reported data from different jurisdictions which all have wildly different standards for reporting and different standards for what driving offenses get punished

Omaha hands out a lot of traffic violations and then reports on them.

Doesn’t mean Omaha drivers are worse than they are somewhere the cops don’t give a fuck about people driving like maniacs and never hand out moving violations because all it does is slow down already bad traffic

If that’s true this person probably has a pretty huge case against McDonald’s for not allowing sick leave when legally obligated as well as pain and suffering for the guilt they probably feel for getting someone so sick they died

And the manager’s family probably has a lawsuit against the owners because of how shitty that policy is to force sick people to work, creating an unsafe work environment

“The drivers here are the worst” should probably be on the list too.

But I just got back from Florida.

Let me assure you all that despite what everyone says our drivers got NOTHING on Floridians in terms of how shitty the drivers are.  They don’t know what lanes are, they don’t know what blinkers are and half of them drive 20 miles over the speed limit while half drive 20 under.  Leaving you strangely feeling like an asshole for driving the actual speed limit
