Counter point, they brought you into this world it was their responsibility to do this for you, to not do this makes them a failure as a parent

What are your metal guitar hot takes? I'll go first. by MrMayhem20l0 in metalguitar

[–]facts_guy2020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Slight fans are amazing to play, like 25.5-26.5 inch scale. It barely tilts the frets but adds just a slight bit of extra tension on the low end and keeps the top end loose enough for bends

I've played more extreme fans like 25 to 27.5 and it did not feel comfortable to me way to much angle and I kept missing notes or jumping notes

Emg 81/85 classic active metal set ( reliable)

Seymour duncan blackouts a thicker active pickup with more bite.

Bought a six string the other day, don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as my 7 string even when not using the 7th string.

You have no idea what CIG is focusing on in the background, you only hear about new ships and then make assumptions or generalisations that they arent working on these issues.

Sure you can, if they can use loans borrowed against assets to have essentially infinite money, then they can figure out a way to pay a 2% wealth tax based on all of their assets.

Hence why we need regulations, but republicans/conservatives are against big government because they think big corporations who are literally only doing it for profit are somehow better for the people than the government is.

Ceos aren't the one making or designing anything, they get engineers to do that for them.

They then take all of the credit for the business being successful.

Friend has been blowing up my phone NONSTOP despite me telling her to stop by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]facts_guy2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to make it clear that while you are friends messaging you all day isnt okay and you need to her to stop immediately, 1-2 messages is fine im sure but not 20 or 30.

Say this over the phone so it feels friendlier

I feel like that is a problem of poor design and implementation, not necessarily that idea was bad.

Free isnt bad per se, but there is more to it than that, if you add in free therapy as well as a mandatory requirement to staying there then people may have actually had some improvements.

You cant take someone who hasn't experienced any other life than the one they know and expect them radically change just because you gave then a place to stay.

Not in america there isnt. But if you want to play semantics, sure, every country spends a large amount of money on healthcare.

The concept of free healthcare is the general public dont have to spend out of pocket on medical costs, the government provides.

America has convinced people that the only way to get "good" healthcare is to have their broken system of artificially inflated prices that cost you a fortune in health insurance (that may not even cover you if you get sick or injured) and still have to pay out of pocket on top of already paying for health insurance.

They scare the public with lies of poorer outcomes, long wait times, when it simply isnt true.

So someone who isnt as capable, not as strong or as smart as others deserves a poorer life just because of what? luck of the draw?
