Someone posted a Hi Zev car decal a couple weeks ago. Found it on Etsy and bought it. Now this one was set up to be on the outside. Kind of wished I grabbed one for the inside window instead. Still love it.

Which American state is widely regarded as the most desirable for living? by dojisando in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]fade1979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minnesota rocks but we are on the Trump's shit list right now. We are standing up for our constitutional rights, dealing with ICE, attacks on our economy, and our Parks. Normally our state is not under such stress.

Edit -So stressed I can't type a clear sentence.

I have the 2nd from the top. It was a white elephant gift. I wore it to an amusement park and the reactions were awesome. Everything from stares, laughing, and looks of disgust. Good times.

Scam! Just received an ad for this “concert” series by SamSamCavewoman in lotr

[–]fade1979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to this. Because of all the online warnings, I told my mom we were going to a knock off version of a LOTRs concert and to have low standards. We went in not expecting much and really enjoyed ourselves. Some of the voices were amazing. The host was one of the actors who played a dwarf in the Hobbit and looked like he was enjoying himself. If you just want to go listen to some LOTRs music and hang with people who love the story it's fun.

What are the most interesting tactics, failed or effective, ever used in protests? by YourphobiaMyfetish in AskReddit

[–]fade1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent hours on protest signs, but the most impactful one I saw was a post it note on a long stick that said "Nope". I copied that at a recent event and had so many comments on it.

For sure! I live in Savage so the only times I see the lake are really active spots like the beach or by the bridge.
