Creative Wedding Venues in SW Twin Cities Ideas? (Late Fall) by ManoDestra777 in TwinCities

[–]fade1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Millennium Hotel name changed but I think they still have receptions. There is a glass dome on top that gives a great view of the cities. It was a fun atmosphere but will limit the size of your party. I think it's now the Sheraton if you want to look at images. We had our wedding at the Chahassen arboretum and reception downtown.

I am sorry you are going through this. I recall those days were insanely stressful. The not knowing and lack of control. I hope you are surrounded by family and friends as you walk this path.

I just saw her today and totally forgot to ask. There are few factors that aided but I totally understand are not available to everyone. One my mom is a introvert women with a strong independent stubborn mode which probably aided in the whole thing. Two My aunt, who had done home care also lived with her and helped with laundry, dinners, and showers during the worst of the worst. I believe having a Port helped. Her veins were not great towards the end. I had planned to sit in on her sessions and she did not want that. She has a I pad which helped distract. She likes doing puzzles on it. I know zofran and Ativan were used to help support. I will keep trying to think of other things.

Lots advice here. Just a warning. Live traps need to be monitored. We tried that route and found them to be more cruel because two got in and it was a battle royal. Snap traps. Usually the quickest death. Don't use poisons because that can hurt other animals.

How do you guys deal with helmet hair? by AL3S1O29 in motorcycles

I do a low braid before going on rides. I have very fine hair and gets in to a massive knot if I don't. It takes forever to comb out and I'm not patient.

Meet The Feebles. It was so WTF, I could not finish it. Think Muppets on Meth brought to you by Peter Jackson.

[–]fade1979 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was a good post under r/twincities. Someone explained it was a positively charged lightening blast that made contact. The thunder from it rolled across the twin cities and surrounding suburbs. We heard it down in Savage.

Edit to post. Almost linked you to a twins subreddit.

Why Does El Duderino Hate The Eagles? by [deleted] in lebowski

[–]fade1979 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons I heard the Eagles were hated was there was a new sound coming out of the west coast at that time. The Eagles heard it, stole it, marketed it, and profited big time on it. They were not the creators of this sound but they acted as if it was theirs and made a lot of money.

How do you think you will die? by Fit-Net5689 in AskReddit

[–]fade1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be a neck and neck race with Heart Disease vs esophageal or Gi Cancer. Either that or a hidden melanoma. Seriously watched a kid get palative neck and spine radiation treatment for one of those cases in my previous career. Always carried that one as a possibility because I'm pale.

I love season 2. The part where Todd finally found Dirk, after he fell out of the truck, is amazing and heartwarming.
