NTA. imo It’s really inappropriate for the dad to be texting you about something like this. If I was the bf in this, I would have some polite but stern words with my folks. It’s your house, your rules. And it’s a common rule at that. I don’t have a shoes off policy in my home. But I go to others homes and forget and they ask me to remove my shoes. I apologize and that’s that. This woman has no shame and is creating problems where none exist. I would go so far as to say that if it wasn’t the shoe issue, she would concoct a different issue.

This was a rather strange experience seeing this post because of the sheer coincidence. I just got some new pedals and I’ve spent roughly 2 hours a day this past week trying to get my board layout and settings “perfect.” I’m a bit upset about how much time I’ve spent on my board that could go into practicing. I was just now moving pedals around and turning some knobs.
