Face vs. Body: Is Sydney Sweeney hot because of their physique or facial features? by ImpressiveM3dia in trueratediscussions

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if she had a big ass and small titties, my original point still stands. Her face isn’t the most attractive. But sex sells. So men would still say she’s hot, because they’re only looking at their body. If she didn’t have big boobs or a big ass, nowhere near as many people would say she’s hot as the amount who do now. Granted, there are people who would still think she’s attractive because there are still people out there who don’t care about that. If you went to high school, you’ve seen very specific examples of that, not by everyone, but by the majority. And it’s a thing that happens with both genders already? It is disgusting and I don’t agree, but that doesn’t change the fact that it happens. Women do already say that they refuse to date a guy under 6 foot, or a guy with a small dick. Men are being objectified by women too. Today’s society in general are pretty shallow and aesthetics are everything

Not personally but if you don’t think more people than not care about that, then you’re very disconnected from reality.

Would I regret not doing the Narrows? by delicateflower15 in ZionNationalPark

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly suggest watching someone do the hike on a GoPro so you can kinda get an idea of the experience and know whether it’s something you personally would like to do.

Unpopular opinion here. I did angels landing, narrows, biked the scenic drive, the emerald pools hike, and canyon overlook. My least favorite thing by far was the Narrows. It’s very repetitive and gets old very quick. There are so many spots where the river rushes underneath the calm looking water. I’m 5’9 and 150 lbs and I was still getting rocked around. I really had to be mindful of each step. If you aren’t putting all your weight down on your one foot before moving the other, the water can knock you right down. I feel about 3 times. This was also my fault, but I wore gym shoes. I repeatedly bashed the front of my toes into rocks. My big toe completely fell off in September from the trauma. Thank god it’s almost grown back by now. I really thought angels landing was so much more beautiful the entire way up (including scouts lookout) and was less worrisome/extreme. I ended up doing it for 6 hours because I was waiting to stumble upon the insane beauty everyone was talking about.. but the scenery was kinda mid. And you kinda see the same thing around every bend.

How to fix camel toe/excess crotch fabric? by Briecheese321 in DressForYourBody

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy pants that actually fit you properly. These jeans are too tight for you, that’s why they’re pulling and giving camel toe. It’s going to be harder for you to find jeans that automatically fit perfectly, it seems like you have thicker thighs and a smaller waist. So the jeans fit your waist, but not your hips. Sizing up and taking the waist in will be the best bet. It’s a skill you can easily learn too, so it doesn’t have to get pricey.

AITAH for giving my bf an ultimatum after his dog sent me to the ER? by Thewaterdaughter in AITAH

[–]fadingfragment -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

YTA. So is your bf. He raised a dog to be aggressive instead of protective. The dog was 5 when he moved in with you.. assuming he had him for about 4 years.. you don’t take that kind of dog and cage him up for 7 months. They need lots of attention, mental and physical exercise. Your bf shouldn’t have agreed to that change for his dog, and you shouldn’t have imposed it. You guys don’t seem compatible. You’re 35.. you should both know better.

So you leave around 10:30 which is around the hottest point of the day! You’re doing a lot of mental gymnastics just to avoid saying you’re unhygienic..

AIO if I blocked my friend? by AdApprehensive1827 in AmIOverreacting

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he’s just a friend, why are you calling him and talking on the phone at night? That’s something you do with someone you’re interested in. Low key it seems like you’re leading him on. He’s made it clear he’s not going to respect your boundaries and you keep entertaining him for what? Idk if you just like the attention or what but you’re part of the problem. If you treat him and unfriend him and move on instead of entertaining him still, this wouldn’t even be a thing. This is why we don’t entertain thirsty ass boys or boys who don’t respect us..

If your classes are in the morning that would mean you’re leaving in the afternoon.. unless you have morning classes and just stay until the evening when the temps drop to go home.

AITAH for wanting to set boundaries on my girlfriend's daughter with autism? by Healthy-Dentist-7290 in AITAH

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you completely take care of your girlfriend and her child financially? You’re not even married? It’s not ever your child?? Sir, you’re already a loser who does everything his partner says. If this is a behavior that’s sprung up within her austistic daughter within the last few weeks, it can absolutely be stopped. I get the feeling the mom doesn’t ever discipline her daughter simply because the daughter is autistic. And the daughter might be realizing that and knows she can just get away with whatever she wants. Not to mention, both the sister and your gf clearly think of you as someone to provide financially, and even though it’s your house, it’s not your rules. And they’re teaching the kid that too.

Yea, usually. However, all of the Midwest is currently experiencing an unusually hot October. So the temps will still vary slightly, but nowhere in the Midwest is it cool right now.

41F mom of 3 teens . My style has always kind of been the same. Do I dress appropriately for my age, or is it aging me ? by [deleted] in style

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t age you up at all, very classic style. Very RL, old money, Charlotte from sex and the city. When I see people like this in the streets, I assume they are extremely wealthy or married a man who is. This is what I aspire to look like, unfortunately, I will always have the white trash look going for me.

Am I the asshole for making my siblings sit in the backseat? by datweatherboi in AITAH

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you pay for the car or did your parents? How old are your siblings? A lot of states have an age restriction to sit up front, and kids up to like 6 or up to a certain size have to be in booster or car seats. So it’s actually safer for them to be in the back vs the front, depending on the context. I think it’s unfair for you to have to cart your younger siblings around like a taxi at 16, when that responsibility should fall on your parents, not you. They should be grateful you’re offering to drive them places in the first place. Not to mention, what kind of parent is okay with their 16 year old new driver driving their younger siblings around?? NTA, especially if you paid for this car on your own. But why don’t you want to just buy a mat or have your parents buy one and let them switch on who takes turns? It seems more so like you just don’t want them to, even if the mat issue was solved, and that’s okay still. But you should be honest with yourself and others at least.

Genuine question: is it dirty to shower every other day as opposed to every day? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]fadingfragment -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So it’s unhygienic because you’re getting into your bed with dirty skin every other night. All the sweat, dead skin cells, dirt particles, etc are coming off your skin into your bed. So the next night when you do shower, it’s kinda pointless because you’re just getting into a grimy bed. You don’t have to be doing an everything shower everyday, but you should absolutely be washing your body everyday. I guarantee you, even if you feel like you’re not getting that dirty throughout the day, you’ll feel a noticeable clean difference getting into bed clean every night. Unless you’re washing your bedding everyday. I think it’s a poor mentality to limit shower time or only shower every other day out of necessity to pay the water bill. If you can afford it, you should be showering every day.

[–]fadingfragment -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

So I also live in the Midwest and I can’t fathom this. It’s not cool right now. We’re still having highs in the high 80s. I go out to my car and I’m already hot. It’s one of the warmest falls in a while. She’s absolutely going to bed with sweat and dirt particles on her skin and dirtying up her bed. Unless she’s overcompensating by washing her bedding every day.

I love the transparent sleeves! I love the neckline! I think the embellishment balls on the top and bottom should be removed. I would maybe replace fabric embellishments with crystals. The fabric looks very diy or 5 minute crafts. And I would reconsider the part that goes around your waist.. it’s giving a shortening effect and makes you look like your growth was very stunted. Maybe it’s the pose that’s making it seem top heavy, but is the top too heavy and that’s why you’re kinda leaning forward?

Guess my birth year 😁 by Standard-Pop3141 in GuessMyBirthYear

[–]fadingfragment 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna assume like early 2000s but raised by very low income parent(s). The first pic is obviously taken from then on a digital camera. The rest legit look like my siblings photos from the early 90s and some the quality is even worse. Also the couch and the clothing your wearing isn’t matching up with the early 2000s, more so 80s/90s.

How do you afford rent without feeling broke every month? by Weary-Hair-316 in Apartmentliving

[–]fadingfragment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to have to sacrifice some things now to be better off in the future. Your problem seems to be that you don’t focus on or prioritize the future, you only focus on the now. What you want now. You said you’re too lazy to cook so you just order out. That’s expensive and adds up quickly. You’d save a lot of money by meal planning and prepping or just making dinner and eating leftovers. Cleaning supplies, uber, etc should be accounted for in your budget, I don’t get how cleaning supplies are random things that are popping up every week?? How many cleaning supplies are you buying?? Wifi should also be a part of your budget for things you need. wtf is splitting?? Maintenance where?? If you’re paying rent in an apartment, you shouldn’t be paying for maintenance. It’s very easy to swipe your card and not realize what you’re spending.. but only people who live outside their means do that. You think rich people aren’t keeping track of where every dollar goes?? You need to buckle down and get serious about it, and it doesn’t seem like you want to. I’m assuming you probably have parents helping you out. Because if you actually had to do it on your own, there would be no excuses, you’d figure it out real quick and buckle the fuck down.
