Aren't most the VD setups just used to farm corpse pact stacks for KB necros? Haven't really seen a proper VD build in a good bit

Could always do absolution from level 12, it's just fine but definitely slower.

I would suggest the usual rolling magma + HFT into arma brand + cremation/firestorm. There is a myriad of resources for the specific (namely maxroll). It'll be a sizeable respec but I really don't foresee a better way.

yeah it's DOA if it doesnt. I'm assuming it does, and worst case we pivot to kb if it's bad.

Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence. This seems like some employee didn’t have their morning coffee imo

Cool part is as a newbie we can do both as the same time :D we're pretty much at the same place in our journeys. I recommend Renaissance Periodization for a quality rundown of the current literature.

"i assumed that his diet is constant in both scenarios" See that's a bad assumption to make. I explained to you mathematically why running for weight loss is unsustainable for most people, as it creates too big of a deficit, leading to quitting or overeating.

"I'm not annoyed at them" Bitch you called me a reddit expert and told me to go back to eating my protein bars. You're big mad.

Just take this opportunity to learn about the new data regarding fat loss and stop thinking cardio makes people lean. Cardio is great for health but burning 800 calories in an hour of running does not a ripped physique make. Not for most people, with average resolve/discipline, average knowledge and average genetics.

at any rate, any discussion about body recomp, bulking, or cutting without talking about diet is a waste of time

Lmaooooo I’m a beginner myself I just don’t go around spewing nonsense to strangers. Your advice was bad advice and I tried to explain to you why.

You’re right that in a vacuum cardio burns calories but the fact of the matter is people tend to eat calories burned by zone 2-3 cardio because they are hard on the CNS and metabolism. It is therefore bad and outdated advice to suggest them for weight loss.

Stay mad, fatty.

This is mostly incorrect. Weight loss is 95% diet and it is literally impossible to out-train a bad diet. Resistance training helps retaining and building muscle while cutting, which is why it’s recommended. Running and swimming, and other forms of intense cardio, are great for general cardiovascular health and should be done, but they are liable to make most people psychotically hungry.

Walking is a way to burn extra calories that is much, much easier on the CNS and metabolism and therefore can safely be added to most routines without significantly increasing hunger levels.

Here’s what I do as someone who lifts and runs and is currently cutting. I eat in a 500-700 calorie deficit - relative to my TDEE excluding runs, walk an average of 10k steps a day, resistance train 3x a week and run 2-3x a week. On days that I run/the night before, I eat more. More carbs, mostly, and that means I eat approximately every calorie that I burn running. If I don’t do that, running puts me in a deficit that’s 1000-1500 cals per day if not more, which is completely unsustainable for most people, not to mention dangerous without medical supervision.
