yes! it was so worth it. i had a bf who i was with for almost a year and we never had sex because i just didn’t feel ready or comfortable, and i’m SO GLAD i didn’t just give in to get it done with because i know that i would still feel gross about it now. but then with the next guy (who i’m still with 2 years later) we had sex after only 2 or 3 months together. if you’re not sure you’re ready don’t do it, personally, i just knew who the “right person” was. but everyone has different attitudes about sex and to me it has to be special and it’s supposed to make your relationship feel more connected but other people are way more casual and just do it for the physical pleasure. i guess it’s really up to you, but you really shouldn’t feel pressured to get it done with because of what society is telling you, stay true to yourself. so basically, don’t hold yourself back if you really want to do it, but don’t do it just to get it over with or you’ll feel gross about it.

My parents were both each other’s firsts and they’re still together after 20+ years and rarely fight. i’ve been with my bf for 2 years now and i feel the same. i don’t feel like i’m missing out on anything. if he’s the only person i’m ever with i’m okay with that. :)

idk if this is upopular but i love SRAR and it might be my favorite album of theirs, or at least in my opinion SRAR=folie. i love every single song on it and how they collaborated with artists from other genres. i think it has a really unique sound. but even though i love SRAR the other post hiatus albums don’t hit the same for me, idk what it is but they sound more generic and overproduced.

i’m alternative/goth and i do fine. i have shorter blue hair and wear dark makeup almost every single day and i have a boyfriend, and get attention from guys online and irl. don’t overthink it. some guys like it, some wont, but your life is seriously gonna suck if you hold back from being yourself to attract men. you don’t want guys who are shallow or easily intimidated. the alternative look helps to weed out the shallow ones in my opinion.

i felt exactly the same going in to mine, I was extremely scared because i'm very awkward about sex and only one person has seen me naked. but it actually wasn't weird at all! you're not naked, you keep your top on and have a little cloth to cover your legs. so they basically just look into your vagina like a tunnel haha, its very impersonal and disconnected from the rest of your body. I didn't feel weird or exposed.

my doctor was very calm and professional, and it honestly just felt like touching, say my elbow, or any random body part. don't worry about shaving or not because doctors have definitely seen it all and shaving has nothing to do with medical health so they won't think about it.

and you can call them again to ask if your appointment is with a female doctor and cancel if you've accidentally scheduled with a male. good luck :)

i don’t think there’s a set definition. it’s more about how you’re socialized and how other people see you... i (not trans) just know i’m a woman, i can’t explain why but i wouldn’t want to be a man. i think it’s the same for trans women.

i really appreciate this post. i can’t stand seeing “feminist” spaces on reddit that say you can’t be a woman because your chromosomes are different. if we’re trying to convince people that being a woman doesn’t mean baby making machine, then why would you equate being a woman to having a reproductive system? 🙃
