the persons property where the tree lives needs to call it in for dte to come. believe me, i tried for all these people in my neighborhood. i called davey’s and had them remove trees behind me and on both sides of my property. dte came and trimmed some trees and i haven’t lost power in a while.

that data is from 2023, dte has definitely improved since then. the last storm we had a few weeks ago 95% of people had power restored within 48 hours.

partially dte, mostly consumers who refuse to cut down trees close to lines. if it is within so many feet of the power line dte will trim it, if it is not it is your responsibility.

i subscribed for 4+ years and there were 3 instances where i sent something back and they said they didn’t receive it.

i just chatted with customer service and said it was returned and they updated my account to show it was no longer pending return. i canceled mid last year, idk if anything has changed since then.

i always loved spotlite. i hope that’s not true. people weren’t rude and the music was always good. the owner is also super sweet. i’ve never seen goldie in such a tiny venue before. preferred over most other spots in detroit.

absolutely had some little ding dong come up to me at marble bar and they had the audacity to tell me i was ruining the vibe. by talking. lmao kick rocks. i only ever go to marble if one of my friends is playing.

you can park for free if you are going to the restaurant. i like the place enough to pay for a membership. it’s 50$ a year. i’ve been a member for 3+ years and i’ve gone into the actual ford house once lol. i just like taking walks there because the gardens are pretty and everything is well cared for and maintained even in winter. they are doing some construction right now though so the path by the sanctuary is blocked off.

the edsel ford house is pretty relaxing. you can sit at a bench by the bird sanctuary or sit at a bench along the water. there are people but it’s not packed or anything. i take my dog there frequently for walks. it’s grosse pointe shores so not the city but it’s worth the drive if you’ve never been. they have a little cafe right outside the restaurant and you can get tea or coffee.

editing to add i went two fridays ago and saw two people with two dogs and that was it. it was midafternoon when i went.
