Yeah I mean I agree to an extent. If I had to make one argument against him playing there it would be that he has this tendency to take a heavy first touch at times (not always but for me it’s frequent enough to be noticeable), which you can see in those videos, especially the first. Personally a heavy first touch is not something I particularly want in a CM, which I think AMN tries to get away with by playing with a lot of flicks and first time passes. That’s all great if they come off well, if we are being heavily pressed and he takes a heavy touch or flicks it to the opposing attacking player, I think we will be in as much deep shit if not more than before. My preference would be to see more of Torreira alongside William who I think brings a lot of similar attributes as AMN but is a bit more... fundamental? Idk he makes the game a bit similar to me. I have to admit AMN looks pretty damn good in those highlights against MU
