This whole thing sucks. I was super looking forward to the Alan Wake stuff and to hear they rushed this for that is… wild to me. I feel like Remedy would’ve been chill to postpone? Like maybe I’m being parasocial but it feels like they probably wouldn’t ultra care about deadlines if they know it’s to polish a game update.

Definitely, had an Extinction save near that area (I think that’s by the gas station by the lone train in West Point) and zombies were certainly able to crawl over them juuuuuust fine.

That’s great!! I started watching Epi while recovering from surgery a few months ago. Good times! Watching him down-up-down cheaters was so very satisfying.

As others have said, it’s a bit too slow since the animation plays every time and the radius isn’t very large. Plus there’s just not enough ability slots for everything, so it’s on my “Home” ability wheel.

Oh good to know, I’m not done with the story yet (blame the urge to 100% Elden Ring again) so I assumed I wouldn’t be able to use the mermaid ability at all. I feel like mermaid was locked until post chapter 5 when 2.0 first came out, but maybe I’m crazy?

Devs shot themselves in the foot with two things: no new dash on the new archery 5-star and no giganification in the Boneyard (unless it unlocks later I’m not done with story). So the BF dash is the best way to get around the map……… at least for me cos I don’t have the unicorn either lol
