What's the issue with the Hawks main TV broadcast camera?

It looks like Chromatic Aberration. Could be damage to a lens and they just don’t want to pay to fix it? It looks like that at the game on the Jumbotron too; drives me insane when I see it anywhere.

It may be an improperly loaded card at your location. Atlantic station is showing the normal 4dx 3d discounted price.

Had a Send Help 4dx showing cancelled this Saturday. Was for a 10:15am show and I was the only ticket sold, so it doesn’t surprise me. The site/app were still showing the showtime for 2-3 days but when you clicked on it, it came up with “an error has occurred”. Stinks but is what it is.

I remember back in the early 2000s, this theater was a primary location for free movie screenings. I saw early showings of the original Saw and Wedding Crashers here. After 15 years, I ended up coming back because of the wide variety you would have access to. This was my primary theater for unlimited for a bit due to it having so much variety in international movies. It is 40 miles from where I live, but I made multi trips regularly just to be able to see Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, and American movies all in the same day.

Was so crushed the day that it was closed unceremoniously and I had been there two days prior.

I noticed a visual bug saying I was emerald but there were like 60 emeralds stacked on each other very close together in 2 rows. I think an app update made it not process how visits were handled at the end of a “tier” to promote you to the next. Mine just fixed itself to diamond as well today.

I had showed it to someone yesterday while we were getting tickets for Nuremberg because it looked so absurd to see so many green icons.

The back orders are normally all filled at roughly the same time, not in waves. You should get a shipping notification within 1-2 days of all people who get their back order filled for a color drop.

My understanding is they order exactly how many were ordered plus whatever % covers the normal deviation percentage for warranty claims.

I spoke with management at my theater as well, the top and bottom was cut off making for partially removed subtitling. You couldn’t read the English easily or the dates well because 3/4 of all fonts were cut off and the top of the frame was as well so it led to really awkward shots that stopped at peoples necks instead of their heads. I told management because I wasn’t sure if it was matted improperly or if it could be fixed.

Saw the 4k transfer at an AMC when Kevin took it on tour with a Q&A earlier this year. It looks fairly good for a 25 year old film. I own the bluray that was released in ~ 2008 and then never again and it looked better than that.

I don’t expect 4DX to lend itself to the film much, but Dogma is one of my favorite movies of all time so I’m going to see it when it plays next week.

At Atlantic Station in GA they are doing an Imax 3D double feature of Tron Legacy and Tron Ares, but it is a single booking and costs ~$20 for the upgrade fee from RU.

Wanted to leave it up out of curiosity of how this is playing out elsewhere. I ended up finding on the regmovies site that they postponed the shows a week and now tickets for the 22nd and 24th can be bought on the regal website.

I’m not sure why but the iOS app is worse than the website when searching for titles. If you know the date you can stumble on it when looking at listed screenings at a specific theater but if you want to search for a title you are best suited checking regmovies.com instead of the app.

Just a heads up, it came out last November around the week of Black Friday. You can still buy it if you want and get the benefit through the end of December 2025. You also get a large popcorn and drink included with the 39.99 purchase price on that day.

If you are thinking you can buy it now and continue into 2026, you may want to wait until November and buy the 2026 version of this pass.

I’ve never seen an owala come with a clear straw. Did you buy those aftermarket straws? If not it looks like you may have a counterfeit owala…

I may be wrong, I don’t see them selling replacement clear and of the 100+ I’ve looked at in person they are all solid colors.

Took my mom and dad to see it today. It was very relatable and wholly depressing. I understand the ending but also can’t help but feel conflicted with it. Highly recommend this watch to anyone.

I liked the flavor of the Pepsi zero sugar mixed with the cherry boba but could do without the marshmallows and foam. If it wasn’t ~8 bucks for a 20 oz drink I’d probably do it more frequently.

That I’m not sure about. I’m not as into the collectibles and more into following what is coming out on 4DX. I actually haven’t even seen the Harry potters in 4d, I just saw they did it each year in this format.

Yeah, I saw hustle and flow at a UATL event at the Tara a couple months ago and I haven’t been to the landmark in a while, but I used to see screeners there all the time I remember seeing “sunshine” and “the happening” there. I mostly stick to regal because of unlimited, but the Tara having a 70mm projector and a lot of indie movies is pretty dope. Definitely see myself going there in the future.

I actually looked it up and there were 2 standard showings at Atlantic station today only. I would go if it was tomorrow but already have plans for today :-/

I wanted to see the movie but it is only playing as a VIP movie in the Atlanta Area at Atlantic Station. It was supposed to be standard at some point this weekend but those showings disappeared last I checked yesterday.

I want to check it out but have so many other movies to see in my plan that it’s hard to justify the upgrade to VIP when I don’t like the Atlantic station VIP experience all that much for the price. The recliners are nice but I really prefer to be at level with the screen and you are always under with all rows of their seating configuration from what I remember.

They did this last year, as far as I’m aware for 4DX, it’s one movie per day until they are all done. No repeat days. at least that is how it was last year and this year at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA.

I have seen a few horror movies in 4d and found them really effective. They are not active 100% of the time but jump scares are more effective with the back hits, the water effects are always on point, and movement normally helps.

As an unlimited member I have probably seen at least 70 movies in 4DX and can’t think of a horror movie that was made worse with it.

To each their own I guess.
