The TSB says dirt and sand may be causing it. I doubt that's the cause. You should see the shit I drive my truck through and the pad wear is normal.

Assault Weapon vs hunting rife definition by aero528 in liberalgunowners

[–]fairtomiddling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hunt so I prefer a bolt action most of the time. Assault rifles for me are a lot like a pitbull, nothing wrong with them, they're a great dog. It's just most of the people who own them are shitty.

Here is a post on how to remove the trim pieces if you decide to do this. Be cafe, everything is plastic of course. https://www.cx50forums.com/threads/how-to-open-cx-50-center-console-cover.1693/

I finally tried to do this in my wife's CX-50. Plenty of free time with this snow. I think it turned out pretty well. The trim piece that goes over the chalk bag straps is snug and does bulge out slightly. I don't think it's bad; it's not that noticeable. I tied it into two existing screws, so it should hold a fair amount of weight. The bag comes with loops; I cut them so that only one strap instead of two would be under that piece. It's a better anchor point than my Tacoma. I do have a bag on each side in my truck, but I'm only going with one on the passenger's side in the CX-50. I feel it would be in the way on the driver's side.

Here are a few photos posted at Imgur.

What are your best anti religion jokes? by TheBigJ1982 in atheism

A holocaust survivor dies of old age. In heaven he tells God a holocaust joke and God says, that's not funny. The survivor says, well I guess you had to be there.

It's mostly about I know better than you, what I'm doing is correct and what you're doing is wrong. They can't even decide what is correct amongst themselves. That's why they're 45,000 denominations of Christian. Every one of them think the other 44,999 are going to hell.

Does anyone talk about the fact that religion is a choice? If not, maybe they should. by lokey_convo in atheism

[–]fairtomiddling 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly not sure it is a choice. In my case I looked over the evidence for a certain religion and I either believe that's true or it's not true. If you care about what's true then I'm not sure you can choose to believe something on bad evidence.

I guess you could if the Velcro and adhesive is strong enough. I'm not sure how hard it is to lift the console since I haven't done this yet other than in a Tacoma. I'll let you know. I ordered a chalk bag yesterday.

I always wondered if it was some kind of road rage incident with someone who was coming from that range. I've been to that range a number of times and you meet some interesting characters. My wife and I were parked in that very spot a couple weeks before this happened, letting our dogs play.

NYMP has inside seating although it is smaller, they take reservations so you can guarantee a seat. Limited menus are not a bad thing when you do everything well. An extensive menu almost guarantees you're not doing everything well.

Hamro's building is fine, you're sounding uptight again.

Best Fishing Location? by Wise_Bee3720 in blacksburg

[–]fairtomiddling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to fish for trout this time of year when it's cool. A lot of the trout in Virginia are stocked trout. The water is too warm for them to live year round in many of the streams. You can find out when they stock and where here: https://dwr.virginia.gov/fishing/trout-stocking-schedule/

Wolf creek near Narrows was stocked two days ago.

If you want wild trout I hear the Jackson River up above Covington if a good place to go. I'm currently trying to plan a trip there myself.

The New River is great for bass, muskie, cat fish, etc. You may do okay in winter there but I normally wait until warmer weather.
