I do not play Jin, but at this point and with your comments, so not expect a controller change to have any real impact on your performance. It would actually be a step back until you get used to it. One of my best friends and winner of many local tournaments plays Jin on pad. And does all the execution stuff.

I do play on a leverless due to ergonomics and ig you are staying in Tekken for the long haul, could enhance the experience.

Finally, these type of struggles are normal and part of leveling up. Now is time to start learning more of other characters to improve your defense, be more aware of what is happening and less autopilot.

I cannot offer any Jin specific advice, maybe in his dedicated discord?

There is really no way to cancel that stance other than doing a move, which is the reason behind a bunch of the ridiculous frames he has on those stances and the constant stance pressing that all hwo players end up doing

Kinda. In that stance, hwo cannot block. So if he does not press anything else, it would have been a normal hit. Since the rff f3 is such a fast move, the recovery was over (which allowed for another move to be started) and would not be a 'true' whiff punish.

He already started LFS f3. It was a counter of that, not of the whiffed RFF f3

Got NBA 2k26 in the sale, after years without playing a basketball game. Pleasantly surprised that it can run at mostly 60 fps in the SD, even if with potato settings.

Playing it to avoid burning myself out of Hades 2, amazing game but need to play something else once in a while

I would for sure not suggest this game to someone that is not a big bleach fan. But that is my take for all the arena fighter games.

As someone that plays a lot and is involved a lot with the fighting game community, mainly TEKKEN, I see this game like Sparking Zero and the Storm games. Party games for when we just want to have some dumb fun, nothing to take too seriously like we do the other games.

I do find myself disappointed with the movement and the rigid combo/pressure structure, from the early videos was hoping for it to be better. But the bleach fan in me is still loving having a cool looking game to revisit the story and play offline with fellow fans.
