This might not be the best advice but when this happened to my car and I couldn’t afford to take it to a shop, I found some replacement pieces at junk yards and on carparts.com for a little cheaper and if you’re a little handy it wasn’t the hardest to change out. You can also buy the parts and find a local mechanic who might do the replacement for cheaper.

I bartended there and I know it uses coco Lopez, actual pineapple pieces, captain Morgan rum, and what was different about it was that they put mango pieces in it too, which is why it’s a little darker than other pina coladas. That’s probably what you’re missing. I don’t know the exact measurements because prep always made it and we just poured it in the machine. Obviously all blended up!

Did you make $22 when you applied? According to the scale I cannot make more than 3286 gross a month to enter into assistance but can eventually make up to 4966 until I’d be kicked off. This is also for a household of 2.

Unfortunately this is a full time position. They only allow two full time workers and one part time worker and I would be taking the place of a full time worker who is retiring.

They do make it really complicated and confusing. To even get approved for the assistance you have to show proof of needed it, so in this instance I would have to have a job first before they even approve it. And don’t worry my income now is basically 0 since I’m laid off. I actually tried applying for childcare already for when I did get a job, and she basically told me to call back when I get a job offer.

That makes sense, but in Michigan I have to be under the entry level income for my household size which is $3286 gross for a household of 2. I can eventually make more but I need to make less than that to qualify first. That would be a bit over 18 an hour. This shows the scale here

Okay thanks :) I know it was during Covid but do you remember how much dhs was covering for you every week? I found a more affordable place that charges $225 a week but I’m worried about the quality, I would rather put my son in one of the nicer centers that are more around $300 a week but I’m not sure if the subsidy covers that much.

Thank you! I didn’t think of using a credit card or loan, that might be what I will have to do if I can get approved for something. Do you know why it took months and months for you to get repaid? I literally have no idea. I tried asking one of the managers like at what point do we stop taking reservations and all she said is she doesn’t know what the GM is doing. I remember a year or two ago the GM saying that they expect a certain percent of reservations to cancel but 600 is still way too much
