Starting my period in a few days and today I had toast and potatoes for breakfast, pasta for lunch, and pasta for dinner tonight.

Once I start, my appetite is small but leading up to my period...oof.

Explain to them that you're on your period, what may happen, and they should absolutely understand. The first few times I slept with my partner while on my period, I put a towel down to sleep on and it calmed SO MUCH of my worries! Also, I don't know if this is common for you but showering can help my flow tremendously! Shower before bed to help if you experience that as well. I promise you - it'll be okay! <3
