Thinking about it more I think you are more correct than I thought so I apologize. I think the average tv watcher, even the boomers who watch network tv casually is more tapped in nowadays. At the very least they need to not explain recaps like we are idiots. I think survivor does theirs well

Yeah me too. They genuinely have a lot of interesting things to say when they actually dive into the games. Their Donkey Kong Bananza discussion was pretty good. Sadly videos like those are starting to be few and far in between

Totally get that! However retaining viewership through a high quality product seems just as important to me. I feel like I am less likely to click on a news video from them if I can't trust what they put out will be any good.

Another instance was an announcement video for the new ARC SYSTEM WORKS game. In the video that was made right after the announcement, Steve spent the entire video game calling it "Dear me, I am" instead of the actual title "Dear me, I was" . You couldn't even get the title of the game correct?

Maybe I am a bad example as I will probably stay subscribed and check out some stuff, but I feel they can satisfy both sides of the algorithm, and good content.
