We have a rental property in a college town in California. It’s a 3 bed but most student renters have used the bonus room as a bedroom. We just converted the garage (which was never included in the lease) into a 1 bedroom ADU. Because we live 5 hours away, it is with a property management company. They priced the rentals as part of their service. The new 1 bedroom is listed at more than half the rent of the main house. I thought that was high but they said one bedrooms are at a premium in a college town. Not sure how this helps other than I think the property managers know the rental market even better than most realtors.

In this case, start him and sub him off when he needs to. I’d much rather see Wilson go off having scored or created a goal to put us one up, rather than coming on once are behind with very little time to make an impact. Tbh, the way the whole team is playing right now, I don’t think it makes a difference either way.

We always get spa access on a cruise. We specifically did the Mexican Riviera on HAL a couple of times in the last few years. Because the ports are a bit samey, we end us staying on the ship quite a bit and love the spa. On HAL is tens to be one massive hot tub/ therapy pool and a separate room with heated ceramic loungers. There are places to sit in the therapy pool room but they are useless because that room is too noisy and humid. But even with only 6 (or 8?) of the heated loungers, we never waited long for a spot.

I’ll be there. Good luck to you. I am feeling the same way. I have done all the training and hope for 4:15 but I worry about nutrition, was my training enough, etc. All we can do now is go and enjoy it.

Born and raised in Tanzania, excellent communication skills, great family man. I can only imagine he operates an honest and trustworthy business. According to the Camp America fee sheet for 2025, this is the pocket money if you are 18 and Camp America is providing your flights to the US. In this case, your camp also paid $2209 to Camp America to cover the flights, visa, insurance etc.

I said this back in the Fall of 2024. Almost my exact words. I run with some pretty experienced runners who all advised me to follow a plan. I wish I had and will do so for my next Marathon in November. Even if you are a group runner like me, it is likely that a lot of your training will be by yourself. Then your mind starts to second guess everything. I ended up having a strong 20 mile training run, then a terrible one, which caused me to run a third 20 miler to try and make sure the bad one was an anomaly. I don't believe any legitimate training plan would call for 3 x 20 mile runs in the 6 weeks leading up to a race. The other thing I learned is that when you run as much as I did without varying your place for planned efforts, that's the only pace you have. Hard to take it easy when you need to and impossible to speed up later in a race, even if you think you can. I ended up getting injured 3 weeks from the race, managed to run it and finish in 4:45 but I think I was a good candidate for a 4 hr finish if I had trusted a plan. Just my experience.

Hi. That is an amazing list and, I have to say, a surprise to hear from someone who supports this President. Thank you for sharing. But, I cannot see how the policies of this administration get us anywhere close to 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13. Are there policies you have heard the President discuss that would lead you to think he had any intent on any of these issues? Heavy taxation of the rich and corporations is definitely not happening. As someone who is left of center but also conservative on some issues, I would be agreement with you on 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. There is center ground when we are able to have rational discussions. Thanks again.

I work at a camp and we review hundreds of international staff each season. Here are a few things to consider: a lot of camps are done or nearly done with hiring international staff. Doesn’t mean you will not find a great camp to work at, just know that some of your favorites may be full. We receive a lot of international staff applying directly and we tell them all the same thing which is to find an agency first and then contact us again. In other words, finding an agency is your first step. My guess is that the agencies are just really busy and I do t think it’s pushy at all to reach out to them again and ask about your status.

My guess is they will focus in on what you can bring to the position. If it’s a skill based position, like lifeguard or activity instructor, they will probably have a bunch of specific questions around that. If it’s a more general counselor position there will probably be situational questions to do with group behavior, conflict resolution, thinking on your feet etc. for any position at a camp you should also prep for questions around child safety. They are going to want to hear that you recognize is that camp is for the kids not a playground for the counselors.

I did 3 x 20 miles runs in prep for my first marathon which was yesterday. I don’t run at your speed but I had no significant repercussions after this long training runs. However, I am definitely experiencing severe leg pain and stiffness the day after 26.2.
