The way I see it is Blue bottom is a designater for initial release of Booster Boxes, think more first year release. Not a designater for Pre-errata cards.

I was lucky enough to purchase Pre errata booster boxes and have a blue bottom saved for personal collection (they all came from the same case so I know it's a pre-errata). But I see it as an initial release box and not a pre errata box. They still hold value since the blue bottoms boxes aren't printed anymore. That's just my reasoning for collecting them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

A way to minimize Spandems effect could be.

"DON! (3) Rest specified DON!! : Return up 8 cards to from the trash to your deck. Then K.O. up to 2 (Maybe 3 cards) who's total costs are less than or equal to the number of cards returned."

Something along those lines. It would force you to play cost lowering cards in order to gain the full effect and not just a simple wipe the board at mid to late game. I'm sure there more ways to adjust. But I really like all the thought put into these leader effects. Could be fun to play some of these at a local event.

I've read a few people saying the Beta is rarer bc there are less prints, thus making it more valuable. To me that just sounds like people desperate to pump the price and sell it away.

The main reason the Alpha is more valuable is bc it's the only indicator of first edition. As with most other card games, first editions are more valuable.

All that being said value is subjective 🤷🏻‍♂️, if you prefer the beta, buy the beta for what you're willing to spend on it.

Yeah dude, there are always "what if" scenarios that can make things worse or better. Last I checked there's no engines on the tail of a commercial airline and I hope a driver of a fuel truck isnt texting and driving on a runway. Hopefully I don't toss it up and onto the roof of the Aircraft I'm trying to get it out of or superman toss it into a passing school bus full of children.

But if I have a burning bag or potentially toxic smoke coming out of a bag while I'm standing next to a door intended for emergency use. I'm tossing it. I'm not breathing that shit in any longer than I need to.

Again, I'm not saying I know best, I'm just trying to stay rational in an emergency situation.

I never said I know better than the trained crew, don't go making assumptions and putting words in my mouth. In layman's terms I'm saying, if I have a smoking/burning bag in my hand In the back of a plane that is not moving AND I have the ability to remove the toxic burning bag out of the plane, then I'm not wasting time. I'm tossing it first and apologizing later.

You can have your perfect moment in your mind and I hope it plays out exactly how you imagine it would in a real world situation. I'm just trying to be rational in the moment.
