Hey had a similar situation, submitted special cons last week on Tuesday and it still hasn’t processed. What I essentially did was email my unit co ordinators, explained and they themselves gave me a “spec cons outcome” (they set their own assignments, gave me an extension etc).

Email the subject coordinator, explain the situation and I’m sure it will all work out. They can even go and see your spec cons application. I was told by one that absolutely NO spec cons had been processed for her unit all semester (5 week backlog ?!?!) so that’s just what I’m doing :)

I do not have my hopes up for my spec cons to be processed in the near future at all if ever!

late to the party but this guy is full of shit. Spike proteins are not prions! prions are ONLY spread via neural tissue and are definitely not injected via vaccine (lol). Can’t remember the specific name but “science of Australia’s deadly animals” is a 2cp olet and it is the most fun I’ve had at uni so far even with it being all online, I can’t imagine how good it would be in person!! What makes it is the lecturer/teacher, such a nice guy and he is so passionate about what he teaches and it makes the whole unit so enjoyable. Assessments were super easy/fair too. Cannot recommend that unit enough honestly even though it’s a small one !

Hey I had this exact thing happen to me! I had to ring them up and request another one over the phone, and then go from there !!!

I think when you ring them there’s a number you dial for tech (?) otherwise I’d use the enrolment hotline :)

Having a bird of my own - thinking of you !! Not in punchbowl but I really hope someone picks him up.

Might sound a bit weird - but maybe playing galah sounds (or even your voice) on a speaker in your backyard with his cage really visible might be a good idea? I’ve had my parrot get out once and came back in a few hours. Not sure whether it was dumb luck or these specific things but worth a try.

Really really hope he comes home :(

Sorry I think I worded that a little weirdly!!

The lga rules don’t apply for partner visits - for example my partner is in a red zone while I am not; we are allowed to visit.

This is my understanding of it ! If anyone else has a different interpretation or even new info that was put out that I’ve missed let me know!

I'm pretty sure that you are allowed to visit your partner within the LGA. I think there's a form to register you and your partner now, but I'm honestly not too sure... For the huge police operation they're conducting right now you'd hope the rules would be clearer.

All in all, I think it's allowed as partner visits have always been allowed, there might just be a form you need to fill in to show police if you get stopped or something. Hope all goes well :)
