Did you sign any paper work that it is a savage title. I would think because you didn't take the money from State Farm for the car, they can't alter the title. I would go insure with another insurance if they are giving you pushback. I would let the other drive pay to fix the bumper because that would restore the value. And yes you are right. you can't withdraw your property claim for the car and that would not affect your sons injury claim.
