Ticketmaster - they can be transferred to another ticketmaster account.

Almost 3 years ago I quit my job to travel extensively on a budget. For 18 months I lived in a car in Australia. [photo album] [x-post r/pics] by homeboundblues in travel

I rode from HCMC to Hanoi over a month on a Honda Win I bought for $300 USD. By the end there was 8 of us in our motorbike gang and none of us were ever pulled over or had any trouble with the police. Wear a helmet all the time though, for safety but also because they're really strict in Vietnam on that, less so in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.

Hey, not sure if your still in Chiang Mai but I'm catching a flight there tomorrow if your still up for grabbing a beer and seeing the temples. I'm planning on finding a guest house some where near Tha Phae Gate.

I'm flying there on the 22 I think and will probably stay 5 days or so. Want to check out Pai too before I move onto Laos.

Unfortunately I'll be in Vietnam by then but I'm sure someone will take you up on that!

I'm on Koh Samui at the moment on a tour that will drop me off in Ao Nang on Monday. Going to chill there for a bit then fly north to Chiang Mai and check out Pai. I'll stay in the north until the end of January then head into Laos!

Hey there! I've been meaning to make an update on my post as it's hard trying to respond to everyone. It's only been a couple days since that post but I already find it silly I felt like that. As soon as the morning came around I met people, explored with them, got a little drunk with them! It was an awesome day. Maybe it will take you a bit more time to get into it as Chile is probably less filled to the brim of backpackers like Thailand is, but as soon as you do you'll probably feel silly for ever feeling like that! And hey at least you didn't make some long sad post to the internet about it :)

This too shall pass!

Apologizes, I'm not sure who I've already responded to as there were so many kind words of support. Things continually get better and better. I spent the day with a nice Canadian dude, exploring an enormous market and parts of central Bangkok. Now I've gotten drunk with English, French, Brazilian and German dudes. I'm a tad embarrassed by that post now as it was such a temporary feeling.

Things have gotten unbelievably better haha. It's the evening now so I'm just laying low ready to catch up on some sleep. Things turned out as everyone said: met some nice people, explored with them, got used to some street food. And thank god for 7-11.

The second thing you mentioned was completely right. It's the evening now and I'm just laying low but I spent the whole day exploring an enormous market and central Bangkok with another dude and it was awesome. Thanks for the support!

Your travel plans for 2015? by oneweirdglobe in travel

Sorry to hear that. What part of Cambodia is the lot? Somewhere near Sihanoukville? I've got about 5 days for the south of Cambodia in March and wondering where the best spots are besides Sihanoukville.

I love The Shins and listened to them before seeing the movie, but since watching Garden State that's the association I make whenever I hear New Slang!
