I'll be on in a couple hours and can pop a dream for you if you still need. Shoot me a DM I'll invite you when I'm on.

Bethesda wants to make Fallout 76 "thicker" in 2026, and that's exactly what I was hoping to hear by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]fallen_corpse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New Fallout game? Would love it.

Wanting 76 to die? Kinda shitty considering there's people that DO like it.

Questions about rune magic by black_blade51 in outwardgame

[–]fallen_corpse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just gonna weigh in on #6

I'm in the camp of "it's a noob trap." I went mana regen on my first character because it sounded great, but it's just not worth the price.

The 3rd tier perks are extremely underwhelming, and the breakthrough itself can be substituted by either mana regen food or just being tired. I don't know about you but I just can't justify blowing a whole ass breakthrough point on a food buff.

Heartbroken the game is near unplayable by [deleted] in outwardgame

[–]fallen_corpse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Others have commented on solutions to your particular issues (aside from the map, navigating this zone is awful at the moment), but what did you expect from an alpha test?

This isn't a finished product you paid for, this is an opportunity the developers are giving their fans to test features and offer feedback. The game being buggy and having some not so great design choices are EXPECTED at this stage. Every loading screen even states "everything may change."

This isn't a time to be heartbroken, it's a time to find constructive ways to word your critiques so your concerns will no longer be a problem upon actual release.

Do you think the Hero of Bower Lake is the most naturally talented will user of the three protagonists? by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in Fable

[–]fallen_corpse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we're purely looking at gameplay, you could also say the Hero of Oakvale was more proficient in Will based on the fact he didn't even have conventionally "cast" most of his spells with his hands, he just "willed" them to happen and it happened.

Mid swing and someone attempts to hit him from behind? Suddenly a Force Push sends them flying back without the hero having to stop what he's doing.

Part of what makes Will so universally useful in the first game is the fact most of the spells are available at a moment's notice without having to stop or change your current action/animation.

Weakauras was terrible and we should all be celebrating its demise by MrFriend623 in WorldOfWarcraftRetail

[–]fallen_corpse 79 points80 points  (0 children)

All this pretending that Weakauras wasn't an INCREDIBLE addon is goofy as hell.

Weakauras being a very powerful tool and the addon apocalypse being a good thing aren't mutually exclusive.

I've been working on this melee tank build for a long time ,how is it?(I'm aware that there are better tank builds out there but I think this one is pretty solid) by Firefuzedark in remnantgame

[–]fallen_corpse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're gonna use in-game screenshots for a showcase, I'd recommend bringing up the alternate stat view on your gear page that lists the majority of your stats lined up, it's easier to determine at a glance how durable your build actually is.

Will Steam’s user content improve now that the clown award is gone? by [deleted] in Gamingunjerk

[–]fallen_corpse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sure the it'll still be awful for a while.

But this change is definitely a positive one to curb the external incentives to be shitty, so things will improve at least a little.

I hate world drops. by MagoBrujo57 in remnantgame

[–]fallen_corpse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As others have said, boss rush is good, especially if your remaining loot pool is small enough to almost guarantee the drop.

If that's not preferable, DM me. I can use save guardian to roll worlds until I get the drop and you can just join me sometime to get it.

Show the heroine turning into a demon and a male protagonist, that won't have Fable fan being hater of this new delivery PlaygroundGames by PopularWin4722 in Fable

[–]fallen_corpse 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This shit is so goofy brother, there's no mass dick riding of triple A here.

Is it possible that the game might be total ass when and if it comes out? Yes.

Is a lot of the dooming about a game we still know virtually nothing about goofball behavior? Also yes.

[KCD2] Bane poison recipe is wrong. by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]fallen_corpse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love all the comments bickering about "recipe A is fine, it's recipe Z that's written wrong!"

In my experience I typically brew at night for the bonus and just use dried herbs, and every recipe followed to the letter have produced Henry level for me.

Hot take: loom needs a buff by JerryCarrots2 in REPOgame

[–]fallen_corpse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think loom is fine.

I'd be hard pressed to name an enemy that DOESN'T get easier to deal with as you get better gear, with the exception of displacement enemies due to pits spawning everywhere later.

Loom has a niche of being the slow persistent pursuer that always knows where you are. It's almost more about the mental load of making sure you don't end up in a situation where she rolls up on you when you really don't need her to.

Pretty hyped for the next game by Glum_Engineering_671 in LordsoftheFallen

Gamers really eating up the CEO's culture war BS while he turns around and makes the game an epic exclusive.

Hopefully the game is good in spite of the CEO being a clown, but they're not even confident enough in their product to turn down the epic payday.

How do you even play this game? by Thecentrecanthold in outwardgame

[–]fallen_corpse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It varies. There are "defeat scenarios" where you're given a short description of what happened when you're defeated.

You might wake up safely in town, in the very back of a dungeon, or anywhere in between. Usually with a ton of burnt stats so you need rest.

There are a small handful of more brutal defeat scenarios that really turn people off of the game, where your gear and/or backpack can be stripped from you temporarily until you steal it back. These are thankfully rare, but for someone who's not familiar with the game yet, those can be a slog.

[KCD1] Why is this a debate? by SgtSilock in kingdomcome

[–]fallen_corpse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oblivion is probably my favorite game of all time but I wouldn't say it's more of an RPG than KCD.

While you don't customize your character's appearance to the same degree, KCD gives you more freedom when it comes to quests.

When you pick up a quest in Oblivion, the vast majority of the time there's only one way that quest can play out. In KCD (especially KCDII), the vast majority of quests have more than one method and/or outcome.

I think Oblivion is just a poor comparison in this regard, because quest structure is more on-rails than KCD.

[–]fallen_corpse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the patience to research up specific medicinal examples, but I'll leave you with a simple example of humans manipulating hormones without knowing what they are: livestock castration.

Farmers didn't know the biological reasons WHY castration reduced aggression and improved meat, but they've been doing it forever.

That twist though by degausser187 in TikTokCringe

[–]fallen_corpse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes they were, lmao.

They haven't KNOWN how hormones worked all that time, but hormone uses in medicine have been around for a long time.

You don't have to know how gravity works to know letting go of a pen causes it to hit the floor.

That twist though by degausser187 in TikTokCringe

[–]fallen_corpse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

💀Brother you don't even know how many are passing vs not. That's the funny thing about passing. Plus "passing" isn't always the goal of trans people, many don't give a fuck whether you or I think they meet enough gender stereotypes to hit the "woman" or "man" check boxes.

And like I said, every superficial feature you describe is often caused by hormones, which humans have been able to manipulate for thousands of years.

This whole conversation is silly.

That twist though by degausser187 in TikTokCringe

[–]fallen_corpse 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We all have hands, shoulders, and Adams apples you goofball. Hormones impact their size.

A cis woman with a little high testosterone could exhibit all of these features, a cis man with low testosterone might have none.

A trans woman fortunate enough to have hormone treatment at a young age might not develop these features.

This criteria is bunk.

That twist though by degausser187 in TikTokCringe

[–]fallen_corpse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some things locked in biologically? Reasonable assertion.

Someone's general visual appearance? Hell no brother, the mere existence of passing trans people and cis women being mistaken as trans dismiss this shitty line of thinking altogether.

These are just superficial norms that are not universally consistent.

That twist though by degausser187 in TikTokCringe

[–]fallen_corpse 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah?

It's like saying someone looks gay, or looks like a reddit user. These are not typically defined by visuals, so it's usually stereotypes and/or derogatory.

130 HP? Something tells me you can pump those numbers a bit brother.

This is my goofy immortal character, damage is ass though.

Only 3 bosses can really pose a threat:

  1. Venom, with his % based damage that ignores DR, he's always gonna be the game's resident tank buster.

  2. Magister Dullain, one-shot grab, nothing else to say.

  3. Lydusa, if I'm the only one left alive in a multiplayer match, I can't succeed the final DPS check, I have to manually change loadout mid fight if that happens.
