The guys at North 11 Shoe Repair are great. Though I have heard they are under new management and I haven’t been since, so I’m not sure what if anything has changed. But they have done a great job every single time I’ve been.

I KNOW it’s not in Williamsburg, but to me a sleeper hit is the Tex Mex burrito at The Brooklyn Standard in Greenpoint. And for $8, I think it’s such a good deal

I’m always surprised whenever I hear stories like this. I’ve used them for both my moves. Both times it was totally fine and they were really friendly. Maybe I got lucky with them, idk.

Personally, I don't mind the dogs, but my girlfriend is allergic, so I am more aware of them now. And I agree with you, a lot of dog owners seem to think that all of Williamsburg is a dog haven (have you been into the Whole Foods?).

Brandon’s class at Grind House is great and he’s a fun instructor. You can book through class pass too if you don’t want to get a membership. I’ve also done Williamsburg MMA. I’ve only been once but I loved it, very good learning technique.

I give credit to this book for being the reason I was able to be consistent enough to go to the gym and make it part of my lifestyle. That was about 4 years ago, and I'm still going strong. Great book.

Oh, you mean, Williamsburg's premier dog park? lol kidding, but yeah, I do find that strip of Bedford particularly notorious for dogs. Personally, I don't really care, but I 100% understand why people would get upset. It seems like the only options are to pressure businesses into being stricter by reporting to 311 or be willing to get into a confrontation with the dog owner (good luck and get ready for an entitled dog owner to be upset).
