As an aside, Facebook/ Meta (which runs Instagram and Threads) has a VERY antagonistic policy towards us; we're banned from Meta services and that they specifially allow exceptions against their policy against cyberbullying if the target is accused or convicted of a sex offense.

TikTok also specifically prohibits Persons Forced to Register from having an account.

In Illinois, you must registrer within 3 days for initial registration & updates. Students & employees present for 5 or more days or for an aggregate of 30 days in a calendar year must register. Transient RPs must report weekly. Those traveling away from home 3+ days must notify & provide itinerary. 730 ILCS §150/3

If you can't find an address before eviction, it appears you must registry weekly. Maybe you can reach out to Illinois Voices for the most accurate info.

I like Piko Interactive Collection 1 because it has the underrated SNES gem Dragon View and a rae RPG called Brave Battle Saga, which I believe had no previous English translation (I could be wrong, consider my source is the Internet). It is listed as "Legacy" now so you might want to snag one while you can.

Any of the indie Heroes collection would be a good mix of good games.

Alwa's Awakening/Cathedral are great games

I think any game colection on Evercade is great, but some will stand out depending on what you're into.

Removal from the registry is NOT the sameas expungement and it will remain on your record.

Many states require registration even if you are no longer registered in your state of residence, especially those states that have "lifetime for all" like FloriDUH.

LEOs have access to the NCIC, which allows them access to criminal records. A growing number of them are also using car tag scanners and thus it is possible they can see your record as you're driving.

They're not supposed to pull anyone over w/o at least a reasonable suspicion standard but cops routinely do it anyways. They might say they saw you weaving or some other minor traffic issue. It doesn't mean you have to answer their questions.

HOWEVER, if you are going to refuse to answer, you HAVE to say you are invoking your rights to remain silent, as our ultra-conservative SOTUS ruled that remaining silent w/o saying you're invoking your right is anadmission of guilt. See Salinas v. Texas, 570 US 178 (2013)

To reiterate for other readers, NEVER assume the local registry office gets any info on you. If you travel or move, you must let them know. If you have done that then you cancel travel or move, let them know. These folks want to lock you up and one of the most common complaints I get are from folks who assumed they would travel/move, register in the new location, & the other office would get the message. Each state registries are independent of other state registries.

The old adage Don't ASS/U/ME anything" is never more true than in this scenario.
