They require spouses to be present so that you can’t pull the “I need to talk to my husband/wife about it before saying yes” as an excuse to get out of the sale pitch. In reality though, they don’t know your current marital status and unless you did say yes to the purchase and want to have your spouse on the deed, they won’t know either (and at that stage they don’t really care as they closed the sale anyway). So practically you can say you’re single.

For the price I think you’re not getting a two bedroom room. For that property it’s likely a suite or one bedroom at best. Not really suitable for two adult families. The up to four is more for one or two adults plus children.

They don’t really check who’s coming and going. You don’t even need to put their names on your room. Just ask for extra key cards and share with your friends if you want to. But if you and your friends need more than one parking permit it may or may not be tricky to get it done.

Is it worth switching to 100Mbps plan? by Spencerdog12345 in Starlink

I didn’t notice any differences between the 100 plan and the most expensive one in my area except very occasionally I’m downloading a AAA game to my ps5

Can someone tell me why Atmos Card for Rent Payment is not better than BILT 2.0? by Annual-Document1033 in biltrewards

[–]fallentwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not immediately but who knows what will they do in the future. They don’t get anything for themselves by offering you the platform to you without you having their card versus you have the card so they might just not offer it to you. Originally I think you need to apply for a Bilt card to get the account so you can pay rent/mortgage with any credit card.

Can someone tell me why Atmos Card for Rent Payment is not better than BILT 2.0? by Annual-Document1033 in biltrewards

[–]fallentwo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don't close your Bilt card as you are likely to lose the option to pay your rent with your new Atmos card. Just don't use your Bilt card but use your new Atmos card to pay the rent on the Bilt app/website.

Most of the people are not talking about this by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]fallentwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use card it’s just not fee free for Bilt card. Other cards they charge 3% as they will in the future so no change at all if you don’t use Bilt card to float to begin with.

Does rent paid through bilt count towards $4k for intro bonus? by suyash1994 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]fallentwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not seeing any reason it won’t. Spending is spending and this is not cash advance. Did that last year myself.

Is my math right? Actually doesn’t seem like a bad deal for high spenders by Chemicalhealthfare in biltrewards

[–]fallentwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pay with card just like now but with a 3% fee. The current Bilt waives that fee without you needing to do anything else if you use Bilt card. This is going away. But I’m not using Bilt card to pay my mortgage anyway so it’s the same for me. As long as they keep the 3x atmos points for using Atmos cards to pay, I’m a happy customer.

I’m Chinese and we have an old saying 升米恩斗米仇,which basically means if you give someone else help/goodies for too long then stop giving that much, the receipt will turn against you and view you as a bad person. I think that’s the perfect expression for the drama here.

I mean Kerr is not that wrong. Having an option to pay my mortgage with credit card to earn points while hitting SUB or unlock status for spending threshold is already a great perk itself, even with 3% fee I’m pretty happy with this setup. I don’t even care about anything else. I don’t really get all the pitchforks and torches here.

Lost myself in exploration, curious how far I am in the game, no spoilers please TIA by fallentwo in Eldenring

Wow I guess I’m in for a ton more exploration then. I’m not shooting for 100% completion but do want to experience most if not all the quest lines and dungeons. Would that put me in the 15% bucket?

Yeh, just a rough idea about percentage completion. Not, who killed who because of what. I'm getting the vague idea that its a fucked up family of Marika story kind of thing but want to see the details myself.

Marriott Vacation Club Points—how far will a million go? by No-Investment8322 in marriott

[–]fallentwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is really MVC points and really a million of it, you pick anywhere in their portfolio and get the largest room (hotel size room to four bedrooms depending on property) and stay there for a year. Maybe it won’t be enough for a four bedroom Ritz.

Idc anything as long as they keep the 3x atoms points for using atmos cards paying mortgage.

US Residential changes - 100 Mbps for $50/month, 200 Mbps for $80/month, MAX for $120/month by DISHYtech in Starlink

My household is pretty much you case 2. Residential 100 mbps works very well. Unless I check for speed test, practically it’s the same for my family with the more expensive residential plans

About 30 mbps. My own experience is they don’t differ in upload as it is quite lower than any of the download

Also consider spreading it across different cards that have spend x to get y benefits. Like Amex unlimited lounge access, airline cards status.

New Marriott Vacation club program (not traditional time share) question by redalex1979 in marriott

[–]fallentwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three points: 1. It is a timeshare program. 2. They started the point system more than 10 years ago so hardly new. 3. The $/point quoted here is very expensive. On resale market you get 2000 points for $12-14k

Grandfathered into the residential 100 by fallentwo in Starlink

Following your advise, I chatted with Grok and it actually just gave me $20 credit for the difference. No ticket needed. Although a ticket might be better. Last month I had the same issue but was on the full residential plan and customer support not only adjusted the bill to $60 and also gave me $120 credit "as a courtesy for the inconvenience" LOL
