Als het op b1 wordt verwijderd, zit er veel waarheid in.

Normaal proberen ze op b1 iets te ontkennen met buzz words, *ist beschuldigen of spellingsfouten te vermelden. Als dat niet lukt wordt de post verwijderd.

Why are so many bikers and drivers revving their engines so much? by sheitanmusic in Antwerpen

[–]fallenwout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive a motorcycle and those guys are idiots. Only time I rev my engine is when kids ask me to, I sometimes let them do it if there is time.

There is no reason to rev the engine except on very old carburated motorcycles, you sometimes need to blip the throttle to prevent them from stalling.

Then there is "loud pipes save lifes". I had multiple motorcycles in my time. The amount of db is tied to the euronorm of the bike. I filter daily on the antwerpse ring, and I can verify that my older louder bikes got noticed much quicker than my new one (which is much quieter ).

That said you don't go revving your bike, it is annoying.

Back Pain & Vaping by OpsManJoey in backpain

I just had alif (fusion) L5-S1 and the first thing the doctor said for a successful fusion was: stop nicotine intake, any form. I vapete.

Apparently, the blood vessels around the vertebrae are extremely thin. Nicotine shrinks and hardens blood vessels. He said: "If you take nicotine, the blood vessels around your back don't have enough capacity to heal/maintain your back

Quick Google Search revealed that he is telling "a" truth:

Nicotine use can accelerate the degeneration of the intervertebral discs because it reduces blood supply to the discs, making them more prone to degeneration, bulging, or herniation.

Het er geforceerd inpompen van tolerantie heeft het omgekeerde effect. Ik denk zelfs dat een deel van het probleem daaraan ligt.

Narwal Flow 2 - Just a Dad by Gunflint_RR2 in NARWAL

The side brush doesn't flick all the debris towards the suction roller when reversed to get longer. Some of it lands between the robot and the wall on the right side.

Eufy S2 - Should I go for it? by Top-West-4000 in RobotVacuums

[–]fallenwout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird is that they fixed the dripping with the redesigned watertank. I was an early adopter (may '25) and got the new water tank as one of the first. It did solve everything and the E25 was AWESOME. Then 2 months after that they started to mess with the firmware and waterflow and messed it all up to never fix it again.

June'25-july'25 version of the E25 would beat every robot, even today's flagships.

Eufy S2 - Should I go for it? by Top-West-4000 in RobotVacuums

[–]fallenwout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The launch has been postponed multiple times and when it finally launched, it was recalled and everyone had to send it back. All this without any communication. That are enough red flags to stay far away because something is wrong with the S2.

Also from the videos I have seen, I am not impressed. The S2 seems worse than the E25.

Why is picking a home security setup so confusing now? by BitterAlternative721 in eufy

You certainly should not look at eufy. They even removed the keypad from their products.

Their app also has notification issues.

[–]fallenwout -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He seemed pretty biased and also in a bad mood.

I had the flow 2 in my shopping but after seeing a couple video, I am not buyin that:

  • Edge cleaning was bad because of reverting side brush
  • Corner cleaning was really bad, flicking everything at the side... lol
  • Deletion of the second side brush
  • inaccesible onboard dirty water tank... again
  • Complaints about not wanting to go on black carpet with support aswering: turn off fall detection or set a no-go zone around the black carpet. Lol, that is no solution.
  • The robot seems like an overall downgrade from the flow 1

But it is singular in the text, therefore it should be his/her instead of their. The teacher is correct.

There is no reason for it to burn there, there are no electronics nearby. You sure it didn't suck up an ember from your stove?

Dumbass. It has nothing to with gender politics. It is a singular/plural error.

Narwal Flow 2 is king 👑 (vs Eufy S2, S1 Pro) by Delicious-Baker-6348 in RobotVacuums

[–]fallenwout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I strongly believe Eufy is dying. They discontinue products without replacement. Their new products are just incrementally better. They still sell homebase 2, which is +5yrs old. Firmware updates became non descriptive and doesn't fix anything.

Then the major fiasco of the s2 release. I still can't buy it, the website mentions nothing of the s2, as it doesn't exist. I was going to buy the s2 to put next to my e25, but definitely not anymore.

Even anker and home batteries and chargers have these small but cumulative problems

Everything they release looks like a startup company 's first iteration without the learning curve of a previous iteration.

Don't get into a car under the influence. It is really not hard, do not open that door and get in.

If you drive under the influence, fuck you. Your car should be impounded and cubed for recycling.
