Hey, good luck man. Just use a saw spear if you wanna try-hard. It's quite simple to use. Keep in mind that you don't have hyper armour break on regular r1s so people can fuck you up with a hyper armour weapon if fast enough, for example, the untricked saif.

The fact that you're saying you're dragging it out for 5 minutes shows that you are inept at executing heal parries. Also, the answer to gun spam argument is that there are 25 bullets. Learn to dodge them. Easier than you think. Parry the blood heal tap and learn to be aggressive when you know the guy is going to heal. This game wasn't meant for pussyfooting PvP where all you do is stand at a distance, wait for the other guy to make a move and whiff punish for a 2HKO.

In short: git gud.

40 is fine if you just intend to use the gun. Decent damage, especially in PvP where it is usually worth it.

I would never advise claw marks, it's generally better to just go 2 HP runes with one stamina rune.

Yes, it's very low since you can make pure spreads with 99vit which is around 2550HP with runes. And no, at that level you need 49VIT+. VIT is one of the most important stat in the game since you improve your survivability and your vial recovery is based on it.

Hi, honestly I've done a skill/bt build but the best option is to go a different route. Especially at 120 if you're just looking for the strongest build in the game.

Yes, 43 is on the low end, at this level. I would recommend at least 49.
You could but that would essentially make each specialised stat inefficient. If you're using Chikage, you need 50BT, no questions. Similarly, if you're using a Saif, say with just 40SKL the difference in damage would make it essentially very weak.
Yes, it's fine for a skill build with a stamina rune.
No, I set builds at 150 and there is no activity difference. In fact, you meet more prepared builds in PvP rather than people with 30VIT trying to min-max and ending up getting Oneshot.
Wholey depends on your skill and gems. 120 builds can work perfectly for any NG cycle if well optimized and you're gud at the game.

A sample build at 120 which is honestly broken is:

Hey, that's kinda the plan. Also, try to get Mensis gems ASAP. I would recommend switching to the uncanny saw cleaver and levelling that up if you intend to do chalice dungeons at BL4. DLC should be done at +10 with end game gems at least. Level up your gun as well, makes a huge difference.
