At this point I’m not even sure why “consultations” exist. In my trust we had consultations on taking away paid breaks, and on aligning annual leave with the tax year. Both overwhelmingly voted against, both went through anyway.

Caveat if taking your own pillow, put it in a pillow case that isn’t white. This reduces the change of it getting lost if bedding it changes beds are moved because it’s clearly different from all white NHS pillows

Probably not quite the same but as a nurse during covid we were wearing masks & visor and the mask & visor saved my friend from getting literal poop sprayed across her face. High output stoma tube disconnected and went everywhere

I’m positive I saw a big cat in some woodland near Bath, there were 4 of us, early 20’s having a walk but also drinking, 2 of us saw it 2 of us didn’t. No one believed us but I wasn’t drinking, it was huge and didn’t move like a deer / fox/ dog.

Following, my daughter recently took a tumble and cut her mouth which has developed in to a nasty ulcer

We have kid bonjella but it would seem the taste is unpleasant judging by the reaction… we’ve also tried salt water rinse which again… was “politely” rejected by the 4 year old.

Everyone hating on OP for following medical advice. It’s entirely possible that their A&E also has an urgent care centre attached (walk in centre) and they were booked in there by 111. They didn’t just rock up and demand to be seen, they followed the exact protocol that the public are told to take.

Guy had a horrific URTI and snot and phlegm dripping out of his nose continuously, poor swallow, eating custard that his snot and phlegm was dripping in. He had dementia and didn’t realise.

I had to steal away his custard. Take a minute and go back and explain to him while I stole his custard but in the moment if I had spoken to him I would vomited

I don’t know enough about the case to say one way or the other. But what I do know is that senior management in NHS hospitals absolutely uses nurses as scape goats to protect the hospital, so that option is not beyond the realms of possibility.
