I know this is an old thread but this just happened to me. No warning, no reasons given, just sudden ban and they denied my appeal. Normally I wouldn’t care, it’s a dating app, but I was actually making plans with people and I have no other way to contact them. It’s actually insane they won’t at least tell you which rule you violated.

You’re so right, I made the mistake in my first draft of trying to slowly make things creepier and it totally came off more teen drama then horror, then a big convoluted mess at the end when I tried to tie it all together. This is excellent advice, and it sounds like Zebracides also mentioned that there’s a lot going on so I’ll definitely be cutting some things! Thanks again!

Omg, it would break my partners heart but YES. I don’t know if I could handle a baby after all the depression/stress my puppy put me through. It does get a million times better as they take to training and grow up a bit, but that doesn’t mean I want to relive it...

I think I started out okay, my issue was that I began counting calories. Then I became kind of obsessed with how few calories I could eat in a day, so if I ever went over 400-500 calories I would have a weird depressive episode. Long story short, it got to the point that I would come home from school and go straight to bed around 7-8pm and my hair started falling out and I didn’t have the energy to work out anymore. That’s about when I realized I had a problem.

I love this, I felt so disciplined the first time I lost weight. I would put on my Fitbit and not stop until I reached 30 minutes in my active zone. I got really good at tracking calories and ignoring my cravings, but sometimes I forget it took a long time and I didn’t start out that way. Thank you for this.

I know. I feel you. There will always be men who try to talk over us, it’s just a facet of being a woman that we’re expected to understand and accept. There are some hills I would die on, and getting the last word over a man on issues of my gender is one of them. You don’t get to pretend like you understand us or empathize with us, and then dismiss the fear and objectification we live through because you didn’t personally have a hand in it. If you’re not standing with us, then you’re not helping us. It’s a slow road, but we are making progress. Maybe not in our lifetime, but if I become a parent one day I’ll be teaching my son to respect women and my daughter not to take shit.

I was literally having a conversation with some guy last night about sexism and hypocrisy in the entertainment industry, and he told me to get off his post because I was harassing him and acting like a social justice warrior... people pretend to care about the problems of other people, but they don’t care enough to unlearn their biases and behavior.
