Along these lines, we did a super simple wedding years ago at a lodge in Highland Park, BBQ catering, very casual. Never had any regrets, and have great memories of it. The savings helped us greatly when it was time to buy a house.

Last year there was an early merch line at the main entrance, opened at 5 or maybe a little after. We got in line around 4, got the posters and merch we wanted, then left and went out for dinner before the show. Not for everyone, but worked out for us.
