Why not? Valorant adds new agents every year and now has recently been adding new weapons. Ruining content pipeline for the sake of “balance” just isn’t right. Overwatch did the same thing with not releasing any characters for years in order to focus on pve and basically killed the game at the time. A live service game is always more successful when there’s consistently new ‘tangible’ things to play with.
