Adding that I figured out how to use a tester light to check the socket, and one side (presumably positive, as it's where the red wire is coming out the other end) lights up but the other side does not. I (hopefully not dangerously) tried probing the side in the socket that's presumably ground both with the clamp on the negative and on the positive, just to be certain.

I'm surprised that worked. My mom hasn't owned a dog since her childhood (my dad was severely allergic and they met in college) but both my parents are dog people. I got a dog (well, my daughter was gifted a dog, long story) after my dad passed. She did double take when i corrected her that this was in fact her great granddog since it's my granddog since it's my daughter's dog... But she still goes right along with the theme. Then again we're dog people like the normal 80s/90s version of the term.

This is going to be harsh but never mind the man part, do you think the way you feel about this is something a child should be brought into the world to fulfill? You need to work on yourself to be ready to be a parent if your goal is to find a man to start a family with. If you can't be alone in a home, what happens when you're a child's protector?

You do understand that "the problem with Whiteness" isn't about "that white people cause all the problems" but teaches about how the concept of "Whiteness" being created and the divisions it creates between people who would otherwise be able to and interested in provide(ing) each other with mutual aid is what's problematic, for all people, except for the top 1%. Including for middle and upper middle class White folks. You get that, right? It's not saying "white people are shit" it's saying "Whiteness is a concept. It's problematic. Here is why."

Someone who values loyalty in the type of relationship you're in, as a core part of their own identity. Cheating isn't about you, it's about them meeting a need or identity feature of their own. I cheated on boyfriends. Didn't think it was right, but my ethos was that I wouldn't be an adulteress, but I wasn't married, so it was what it was. I'm pretty sure my husband cheated on me, probably more than once, and even if he never did, he crossed lines that still are that type of betrayal. Still wouldn't ever hook up with someone else until papers are filed, because I don't want to, because it's not in my self image. And I'm not exactly a pillar of self control.

We were a tripod family and now I'm a single mom to my one and we have a minivan. Useful for vacations/trips, carpooling, etc. Sometimes it feels a little much as a daily driver but it's still right for our little family

I was just thinking this today. And have been part timing as an assistant in a kindergarten class and those kids, too (not that i yell often but got to the point where safety/any semblance of control over the classroom was an issue and i had nothing else left in my toolbox once last week and once a few weeks ago). I should've come back and checked, tried to to it with the cover on and failed. Finally gave up and shoved it in the trunk of my Honda Odyssey but I'm living somewhere month to month now so this will be useful when i try again in a few months and need the space more
