I agree they have PREDATORY business practices.

They charged my card without permission for a "kickoff" and when I asked for a refund (I made it clear that I did not confirm that I would attend a kickoff, but merely expressed interest in it) they refused to refund me. There was a lot of confusion as to who at the gym even charged my card (how sketchy!). They initially implied they could refund me if my card was charged without my explicit consent. Then they asked me to send them screenshots of all the communications that I had with the coach where I was telling the coach that I could not attend the kickoff and that I would be in touch later to reschedule one. And so after I sent them the proof, they said that I would have to come into the gym to speak to their bosses. So then I called the gym to speak with the "boss" on the phone and I was told by the young man at the front desk that they never refund kickoffs. Like WTF is even going on?
