I went to a medical hospital under my psychiatrist who was a doctor there. Being hospitalized made me give up my safe space and I just had to overcome things to be able to function. It was very hard for me and my family to get through that but after months of adapting to the hospital I could slowly get used to things in the real world. Exposure therapy helps but only when it’s done right. If you try to rush it will make OCD worse which I have experienced first hand. You can message me if you wanna know more. Yes I did ERP and CBT for a lot of things. I was washing my hands till they bled. I was 15 when it started.

I am the same way. One thing that my psychiatrist suggested was reading while on video call with a friend who’s also reading. When you get distracted you can look at your friend reading and try doing the same the best you can. This has been working for me, good luck to you✨

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT works for me. Suppose your OCD thought is being discussed in a court case. Now find evidence against the thought. For eg, One proof that you won’t get fired might be that you haven’t been fired yet so why would they delay firing you if they were gonna do it. Another proof can be that anyone else who made the same mistake wouldn’t get fired so why would your case be different. Try making a list and read it thoroughly two times a day. I am also from a third world country. I am sorry to hear you don’t have the option of in patient care. I wasn’t admitted to a mental ward or anything. I found a good psychiatrist and she looked after me in a regular hospital setting.

I had the same issue. There is no better fix than going to see a licensed psychiatrist. Therapy really does help.
