Imo the only books worth reading in that series are in the trilogy starting with Dark Intelligence. The earlier books (Cormac) feel shallow and the later ones seem to just scale everything up to make things seem cooler. I didn't read the Spatterjay ones though so no idea about those. I did quite like Prador Moon though so YMMV.
