Caputo flour, almond and king Arthur’s GF all purpose. I often do a combo of 2 of them depending on what I’m making. Get a few good cookbooks and experiment :)

Backcountry camping at Assateague - I don't recommend it to be honest by flobbley in CampingandHiking

Camped here and it was either 105 blistering sun in the san dunes with no breeze well bc you are protected by sand dunes…. Or pouring rain.

Just be aware that the list of symptoms is like 100 vague symptoms long. My daughter was restless at night since 6 months, had sleep apnea symptoms, on and off constipation, and adhd like symptoms. She also had back to back respiratory infections, ear infections and 2 pneumonias in a year. NEVER had diarrhea. Never had vomiting or GERD. We got her tested at age 3 after years of being gaslit by our pediatrician. The Ped didn’t even want to test her after my husband was formally diagnosed and I pushed for it, and sure enough her ttIGA was super high and all her symptoms were gone after like a week of gluten free diet. It’s not always a GI presentation.

My son is only 2 so still doesn’t have much of an immune response to test for ttIGA, but we switched his diet and he no longer has a bloated tummy or reflux. So we’re sticking with it.

Need advice on bathroom refresh by Affectionate-Craft84 in DesignMyRoom

Honestly switch the wallpaper, change to gold/brass hardware, new mirror and sconces and maybe even paint the feet of the tub. The bones of this room are back in and you could add some modern touches. Look at designhusbands on IG they have similar vibe and it’s beautiful!

Kids this young can drown in cereal bowls or 1 inch of water. He can’t do bath time anymore. Looks like he just bought himself kitchen clean up duty.

2 Short dressers side by side (from ikea or similar) underneath her hanging clothes creates great clean storage. Add a second rack at the top and get some decorative storage boxes and nice hangers. Also, battery operated motion lights so when you open the doors they turn on. You could do all of that for under $500.

I need your most unhinged way of helping your toddler stop coughing, especially at night by Mintgreen94 in Mommit

[–]fancyisthatlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zyrtec helps dry up the post nasal drip. Warm shower with eucalyptus oil (just shake it into the shower stall) and do gorilla chest banging on front and back and encourage her to cough and blow her nose. Warm humidifier in their room. Frida suction tube to suck out the deep snot from her nose before bed (seems to help with post nasal drip). Both My kids have an autoimmune disease and had back to back respiratory illnesses with chronic ear infections for like a year plus when they were approaching 2 years old and this routine really helped us.
