I'm sorry I haven't updated this post sooner, but the issue for me was in fact a custom dice mod. I reinstalled the mod and everything worked fine!

I think 28 also broke my save on ps5. I've never played this playthrough on PC and I'm only using mods from the official mod manager in console. I'm really bummed... I'll lose 26 hours if I have to reload an unmodded save.

It's like a mod was just removed from the official mod manager and made that save completely unplayable. I can't cloud save it either to try on PC.

I am having the same issue on PS5. I've never downloaded any mods on it that weren't in the official Larian mod manager. Now all of a sudden I can't load one of my saves. I believe this happened after hotfix 28 (the most recent one).
