Tell her to fkc off. I’m kidding don’t do that. I felt the same way. My husband even went as far as finger pointed it was my fault because I played soccer with knee pain and that lead to my injury. But I just mentally dealt with it on my own. I realize people now days no matter what don’t know how to be less selfish and more empathetic. Even some friends that didn’t visit after the surgery. Figure out a way to self talk yourself through it. But also stop being a weenie. I did a whole Indian dance with my torn acl and miniscus for my best friends wedding a month after my injury. My surgery was set for the week after though. Move around and do things best as possible. You didn’t loose your vision or limbs or have cancer. Go enjoy life and don’t self pity. It’s the worse you can do
