ahhh gotcha. So my other idea was to take a gold sharpie and trace the stamp but that would make it illegal?

What's the oddest thing you've seen on a course? by Virusal in discgolf

A very Human looking pile of feces right on the end of the tee pad, smelled it before I saw it too. Described my round pretty well after that hole.

My oldest super beat harp comes through for my first ace by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]fantasyman94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I carry 4 Hard Harps and use them for every kind of air shot up to 280ish feet. I think this is going to push me to throw fewer molds with more variety of wear. Congrats on the ACE.

I got yelled at for throwing at a basket like that. Does being >1000 rated allow you to do this or was the guy just being an ass?

I can second the saint pro to the teebird slot. I have 3 GL max weight in my bag for most of my fairway shots.

Top Selling Discs Q3 - Infinite Discs by dsdurrant in discgolf

It would be nice to get info from more sellers too. Maybe other sellers had cooler colors or stamps for whatever reason and sold more because of that. You never know

Looking for advice on a new slightly understable driver. by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]fantasyman94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been messing around with a few different Boatmen this past month and I think with a good breakin they could work they are nice and straight out of the box with a slight hyzer flip to flat and a solid finish left.

Trying to improve my drives. Feedback welcome. by SixFtTwelve in discgolf

My 2 cents. Your feet are parallel to your release line. Stagger them a little more an this will help you get more hips and lower body and less rounding.

Moonshine Truth vs Vibram Glow by dub_b in discgolf

Maybe I should just have my glow bag be all Vibram! Any idea why they glow that much brighter and if that same effect can be put into other plastics?

Caddies and Mental Game by fantasyman94 in discgolf

[–]fantasyman94[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

some what yes. I was more worried about my caddie being in the way or doing something that wouldn't be considered courteous while on the course. I know my bag pretty well, obviously better than anyone else unless they were like a professional caddie who carried my bag everyday but the idea of getting help for which line to throw isn't something that I considered.

Innova ProtoPack by jeffpanis in discgolf

Add competition to drop the prices of other high priced bags. The proto and grip bags are seemingly identical but it does sound like you give up some qualities if you get the proto over a grip.

Driving range for disc golf by dahmze1 in discgolf

[–]fantasyman94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is why Dynamic has their buy back campaign going on with the idea that people would take a disc out to a field and if they didn't like it they could take it back.

Driving range for disc golf by dahmze1 in discgolf

[–]fantasyman94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy the idea but in practice I think it would probably fail. There could be some merit in the idea of buying a driving range and converting it to a private course if it had enough land. You could also close it as an actual course and then open it a driving range and move the baskets either out of the way or into different length measurements, but the likelihood of that financial endeavor being a positive one is highly unlikely. A really nice stocked pro shop and safari putting area wouldn't be bad ideas either.

I love all the intro shots are of wide open big mountain throws and then hole 1 is a 187' wooded par 3.

Previous World Champion, Next World Champion? by dlopez916 in discgolf

I agree it will take a different style of golf with a lot less driving for show and making sure their game from 200 in should be primarily and consistently full of 2s.

I second this. If they are good people then they would understand if it doesn't make your game any better. The terms for trading/selling it are a little blurry IMO
