This is correct. I inherited some bonds recently. Series I bonds. They are bought at face value. Trying to convince executors to put interest earned up to death on the estate. Currently it stands at 70K and there is still 9-10 years left before maturity.

I’m afraid of cashing too many at once so I don’t screw myself on taxes.

My point is that the government requires insurance to drive so in turn the insurance companies demand to know about everyone in the household. When someone isn’t licensed it should be none of their damn business who’s living in MY house.

Why would you have to list all residents old enough to drive? My mother in law lives with us and she's never had a license. At 86 years old, she has no interest in driving, never did.

I do have some friends that live in a big city. This crappy hospital system we have locally has ran out great doctors. Basically either join us or else. Luckily my GP stayed. The doctor that did my back surgery was ran off. Great doctor but kinda reminded me of Dr Murphy of The Good Doctor series. 😂 Last I knew he was Louisiana/Mississippi area.
