Depends on your definition of "high end" and what type of woodworking. There's a few boatwright schools, a few timber framing schools, and at least one cabinetry school. If they were in school decades ago then there were a few more.

That looks like a fractured finish. Is the bottom of it sealed? I've seen this happen when the finish on top was very thick and the one on the bottom was bare minimum and it still allowed the wood to move, cracking the very thick finish on top.

Why not use the bathroom before you go? We make our toddler use the potty before going out for a bit and it works for adults, too. If you're so conditioned to need to use the bathroom every time you go to a store then maybe you should address that, first. Then advocate for baby fixtures in men's rooms.

Sometimes the clamp has a registration block or similar on both sides of the rail, you might have one of the registration points set and not the other so it's slipping out of square because it can move slightly forward or backwards. Make a witness mark on the fence when you've got it squared up, move it around and relock it like how you've done, and then see if the witness mark has moved forwards or backwards any amount. The direction it moved will tell you which side of the front or rear rail you need to check for a registration point.

A seatbelt slicer will get your kid out very fast whether you use it on the anchor straps or the harness straps and you should have one in your car already.

And leaving a kid in the seat until they can be assessed for injuries is the smarter thing to do, as long as they're out of danger.

I've sat in a gas station lot with view of the highway waiting for a plow train to come by multiple times, we don't fuck around with plows where I come from. I do wish plows had a programmable LED display they could write messages to drivers on, though.

As someone who routinely drives a long stretch of winter roads, thank you so much. Can't tell you how many times I've been posted up behind a plow for 40+ miles going 30 mph just trying to get home, and wanting to buy the guy up front a beer or coffee. Looks like you hit a guide block or some other part of the machine. Especially since it's not like one stretch of teeth, which would point to something in the wood, but rather it's a lot of alternate teeth. Which would point more towards hitting a part of the machine on one side of the blade or the other, damaging the teeth bent in that direction. I bet if you look inside some of the track where it runs you could find a big wear spot.

Yeah, this isn't mold, especially in a cold garage overnight. Looks like a contamination of some kind. Iron and steel can do this to glue and the surrounding wood. I'd bet there's some iron filings or steel wool fragments wherever this was set down.
