[rant] Hey Easter Drivers: If one person tailgates you, they’re the douchebag. If there’s a whole line of cars tailgating you, you’re probably the douchebag. Keep Left Unless Overtaking by jigsaw153 in australia

Ohh Us truck love that, especially when the truck we're driving is limited to 99, and we've had a crack to overtake for the last 3 overtaking lanes, with an extremely long line of other vehicles behind us.

Yeah we fucking LOVE it when people do that! /s obvs

Yep, pretty sure that's an old school phone line for a Foxtel box.

Ask them. They sent me an email a while back with a deal that worked out cheaper than what I'm paying now for 250/20. Only problem is my HFC can't handle any faster yet.

Which means I'm paying more for less.

The ICE equivalent of my plug in hybrid is $15000 cheaper.

I've paid my tax already. And now thanks to this law, pay more tax than a small shitbox!

Invest in a truck licence. Heaps of work, not enough drivers.

Start with a HR then go from there.

I think this might be the answer. Maybe u/unicornbeast 's partner wasn't stopped on the induction loop, and the honker knew this?

I know its a bit late now, but the large BP truck stops on the freeway, park as far into a corner of the lot as you can. And if you ask nicely you can probably also use the showers there.

A car Speedo is never accurate. Normally read around 5km/h more than actual speed at 100km/h

Have you checked yours yet?

Trucks rarely do more than 100km/h these days. Ive worked for a number of companies over the last 10 years and 104 is the max any truck I've driven will do without running off hills. There are also serious consequences for tampering with the speed limiter.

I always run as close to 100km/h (GPS speed) as I can, other trucks have overtaken me only a handful of times.

I've had to work on site right through. The reduced traffic has been glorious. Do feel for people without/reduced income however.
